Fantastic booty workout with resistance bands tonight! I’ve been using the medium weighted band for the last hour. I’m sweating buckets! I’m so excited for my body to develop over the next few months. I’ll show you all before and after pictures, and I tell you that what I see in the mirror is not how I imagined my body to ever be. Even after having a child and turning 30 this year, I still don’t fell like it’s personally acceptable to be unhealthy and let my body go. Now to go pour a glass of orange juice for recovery, it helps my muscles flush the lactic acid that causes sore muscles and fatigue. I feel fantastic the next day with minor soreness. I only drink simply orange BTW, due to being fresh squeezed and none of those extra additives #healthymom#fitnessmotivation#resistancebands#muclegains#orangejuice#simplyorange#recovery#weightlossjourney#weightmanagement#2monthsleft#newbalanceathletics 💪🏼👌🏼👊🏼🥇🍊❤️
Looking forward to seeing the progress I make. I might wont be able to get more flexible and to get stronger legs and tumbling skills... but i can train my upper body such as arms, stomach and back! I have pretty much no muscle there so let's do this💪🏼
Non intentional meal prep- actually veggies were cut up as a snack for hummus. We were out the door in 10 min, woke up late and no time to prepare lunch. Tired of having day 3 of turkey leftovers, made a quick grain-free stir fry. Peppers, carrots and zucchini, added in onions and hard boiled eggs (made also the day before as a healthy snack). Added avocados and topped with vegan dragon sauce from @auxvivres_ Lunch done in 5 min. 😋😋😋 and this is when I realize that I should commit more to meal prep.
So good, I licked the plate.
And they say clean eating is boring and tasteless ...
Heys Guys Something that u need to know Muscle vs. Fat: Clearing Up the Misconception
Common sense tells us a pound of muscle and a pound of fat have to weigh the same, but they do differ in density. This means if you look at five pounds of muscle and five pounds of fat side by side, the fat takes up more volume, or space, than the muscle. That’s important when you’re on a diet and part of your goal is the lean look of muscle, not the flabby look of fat. Muscle vs. Fat: The Truth
The first step in a successful diet and exercise program is to banish the idea that muscle weighs more and is therefore bad. In fact, Stusek recommends tossing out the scale altogether. “I try to get people to think about how they are feeling, how their clothes are fitting, and how their body has changed,” Stusek advises. “It’s a hard thing to do sometimes. The focus should not just be the number on the scale. If we only did things to make ourselves weigh less, we wouldn’t necessarily be healthier.” #stayfocused#legday#fit#fitness#fitnessmotivation#fitnessaddict#fat#muscle#muclegains
