Time lapse video of two of my previous project in the heart of the nations capitol. 415 L STreet NW and 425 L Street NW Washington DC. When finally completed, the two properties were joined with a 34 ft long steel erected sky bridge at the roof level or 132’ from grade. We had no plans for this bridge on phase 1. The plans were developed and constructed during phase 2 property development. Another logistical quagmire. Plan plan plan. When you think you’re done planning. Plan again. I literally had 15 ft of real estate easement as lay down space for all deliveries and materials. I yelled out expletives daily. I chased hookers out of the portajons. We had #dcpd snipers post up on the 8th floor due to a hostage situation at the neighboring section 8 housing property. I had a power trowel get away from a concrete finisher, crash through the guard railing and netting and fly off of the 6th floor. We had two laborers fight on the material hoist and one smashed the other in the neck with a hammer. 96,000 total square ft per level X 3 on both properties of subterranean garage parking.#meridianatmtvernon#mtvernontriangle#grindhard#steel#rooftoppool
