Closer look at the SNL More Cowbell! Gene Frenkle Funko Pop
Definitely one of my favorite SNL skits and I can no believe they made it into a pop.
Head sculpt is awesome. Glasses look great! And the stomach sticking out is a hilarious nice touch.
Wellp! The unhealthy eating and drinking and such has caught up to me. Turned myself in yesterday to urgent care after running away from work in tears. I have a kidney infection.. or kidney stones (we'll find out in time). No better time to really get back into being healthy again than with a slap in the face like this. No more crazy drinking for Dakada for a while. Here's to limiting alcohol consumption and going back to working out and paleo eating again!
I swear I was looking at someone and I wasn't just posing with a bottle of @vitacocouk 🐒😲 this picture reminds me so much of my teenage style - I was obsessed with 70s style and being a 'hippie'. So I was super excited when I saw these high waisted flares (although I wouldn't mind more bell bottom! 🐮🔔) Also, I forget how much bigger they make my hips look compared to skinny jeans...def takes some getting used to...😶
Today marks the first full day in the city I made "home" 4 years ago. After a wicked breakup, a year unemployed, 2 major car accidents, and a DUI, I took a job offer in Las Vegas. With only 2 suitcases, Peanut, and a heart full of hope and faith, I boarded a plane to Sin City. Some disagreed with my decision, since I had spent the past several years partying... a lot. It was risky to move to a party city, when you are trying to change your life and leave bad habits behind. Athough I had no money and no friends, I embarked on this new adventure with gumption and guts. It's been both a glorious and rough road, but I couldn't be a more proud of how far I've come, and proud of the title "Vegas local." I've turned my life around 180 degrees, and I couldn't be happier. The people I surround myself with are strong in character, and I'm overwhelmed to be blessed with these relationships. I have no problem arguing with anyone who talks crap about Las Vegas about how wrong they are (then again - we attract what we are). These opinions couldn't be further from the truth, and we got to show the rest of the world our heart after the tragedy on 10/1. Vegas locals are generous, compassionate, and live with hearts and arms wide open. Since moving here, I've: discovered my life calling, moved 4 times, taken over 25,000 photos, saw 46 shows, been on hundreds of hikes, made loads of friends, and done a lot of really FUN things. But NOTHING - absolutely NOTHING, compares to people that have stolen my heart and welcomed me into theirs. To all of my friends, family, and framily here in Las Vegas - I love you.
It was pretty hard to select only 2 photos per year to illustrate my life here, but here's my best attempt! (And yes - I’m playing the cowbell in one)
