We went to the National Railroad Museum over the weekend. Turns out it’s located near us. There were so many railcars to see, all with unique character. This one looked like a boat from both the outside and inside. The boys loved it!
This kiddo certainly loves her Daddy. So glad I snapped these pics the other day. I’m certainly going to cherish them for a lifetime. Really love her face in the last pic. It’s says, “Hey Dad! That was crazy!”
We stopped going out so much and I’ve become a homebody. I’ve noticed that Milo has stopped asking for new toys and starting building lots of things with LEGO. And we went to goodwill not too long ago and I was antsy to leave because I just didn’t want anything. Now I’m just dreading going grocery shopping 🙈
Violet was very concerned about Addilyn at her while child visit...while the nurse was listening to her heart Violet got really close, held her hand and told her “it’s okay Addy girl...I’m right here..it’s okaaaay” it was so sweet it almost made up for the other day when she bounced the ball off of Addy’s head
When your baby isn’t feeling well, you want to drop everything to take care of them.
I am beyond grateful to have a job that allows me to work from wherever I want.
So when one of my babies needs me - I am right here. Working from my bed, simultaneously snuggling and making sure she has what she needs to rest and get better.
There is so much freedom in being your own boss and there are countless reasons to love it.. but this one tops them all
“ Motherhood is not a hobby,it is a calling! It is not something you do if you can squeeze in the time, it is what God gave you time for”! .
I’m remembering to slow down and take time to really listen to my kids. To be present when I am present. To look them in the eye when they are talking to me. To stop what I am doing to pay attention when they want to show me something. To breath before I get angry about the shredded cheese all over my couch. To take each moment and make it a memory and a learning experience all in one.
Being a mother is a blessing and not everyone gets a chance to experience it. Even though there are times of frustration, I always remember that God called me to do this! I do this for His kingdom and His purpose! What an honor it is to know that God chose me to be apart of something so beautiful as motherhood! #momlife#momblogger
