I know it’s #sundaymorning but I REALLY NEED A GIN! It’s been one of those crazy weeks where you’ve experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows and you just try and stay sane and ride out the storm. Why did I ever think that running two small (and unrelated) businesses would be easy??

This drinking and dining establishment is spread across three floors with a more causal pub atmosphere on the ground level and a bit more formal Victorian environment on the two floors above. With clever cocktail names related to song titles or band names such as Smells Like Teen Spirits, Tequila Me Softly, Pretty Fly For A Mai Tai, and Sage Against The Machine, you’ll probably want to taste a couple.

Chris Chamberlain, drinksmith @elixircraftcocktails , is an award winning craftsman located outside the Philadelphia area. With 2+ decades of both hospitality, and professional spirits industry experience, he has worked tirelessly in moving the craft of bartending forward. A graduate of the Beverage Alcohol Resource program, he also holds a Certified Spirits Specialist certification from the Society of Wine Educators. Not only a member of the USBG for 7+yrs, Chris has also served on the Philadelphia chapters council. In addition to his continued efforts to help develop, train, and educate those in the industry, Chris has achieved multiple accolades including many for his efforts in the WSWA Call for Cocktails competitions, and a win at the 2013 Iron Mixologist competition. His cocktails have been featured in various trade & media publications, and he has also conducted cocktail seminars at such events as the world renowned Epcot Food & Wine Show.
