Bathroom remodel saga continues....so if you read my blogs you know we’ve been working on this bathroom remodel forever. Admittedly, it’s my fault because I keep changing my mind. My newest question is if we should do concrete tops like this? Everything in this picture is pretty much how our finished bathroom will look - wood vanity, hanging mirror, light sconces, wall mounted faucets etc....I LOVE the look of concrete but it’s kind of a one and done thing. No mistakes allowed. Has anyone done this before? Is it difficult? Should we risk it or just stick to a wood countertop?? HELP!!
Walking SOOO far away from the week and excited to get this weekend started! And yes, you are seeing this correctly - just your average, casual stroll through the neighborhood to scope out some potential dream homes 🙈💁🏽♀️.
After returning our bathroom tile twice already 🙈 I think we’ve finally settled on this grey wood look. Now I just need to decide if we should lay it out in a herringbone pattern or not...remodeling struggles.
Selling Your Home Rule #7 : Judge a book by its cover. Forget what you’ve always been taught, this is a house not a person and buyers are only there to judge your house by its appearance. One of the main reasons houses don’t sell outside of price is the condition. If you know your kitchen is outdated then make changes to it to make it appear more modern. This doesn’t mean go out and buy designer cabinets, small changes like accent tile and new cabinet hardware go a long way.
Using this as my mantra to kick off the week and to remind myself that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Going into a new year with setting goals and trying to accomplish all the things can feel overwhelming at times. Can you relate? Cheers to Monday morning and to enjoying the journey!

Does anyone else remember flipping through old photos and asking your mom, why in the world would you dress me in velvet pants? Her response always being, it was the trend and just wait, those trends always come back.....Ok, not so sure the velvet pants are back in style but velvet furniture is and I’m completely in love with it.
