Regarding the release of The end of heartache, here's Christian's thoughts about the song. "The first time I heard The End of Heartache by Killswitch Engage was actually in Sins In Vain’s former rehearsal studio, back somewhere around 2006. I was instantly blown away by the dragging snare drum, tight guitars and the beautiful lyrics. I remember getting hit by a wave of inspiration and awe. The idea of making a cover of it first came to mind in 2008. But it didn’t happen until now, almost ten years later. And I'm so glad we finally made it, because when we were recording it, that inspiration and awe struck me again." Link to the video in bio.

GRIEVING THE CURSES 9/10
(Our guitarist/songwriter/lyricist Ville Riitamaa @phinxeli introduces our debut album “Of Curses And Grief” track by track, once a week.)
WISH FOR MORE
”This track’s storyteller curses almost all worldly matters and life itself but you can point out that he leaves a certain hunger for life. But not this life. This is his pessimistic wish that the world should have more to it than what it has. And he creates these his own images about what the surroundings should be and look like. But again and again he realizes that they aren’t real and can never be. Endless disappointment after another. In this kind of dilemma he thinks there are only two choices: to live, or not to live. And the solution is clear to him.”
”You only see what your mind creates,
Mind breaks in its prison cell,
I live for something more,
”This is the heaviest song on the album and the only one played only with 7-string guitars. The lowest string is tuned to A as it should without drop-tunings etc. when otherwise the strings are tuned to standard D. So it goes pretty low. I’m very pleased how the heaviness of this song is captured here even tough it’s very melodic. I like this song a lot cause it really goes nicely on and develops hugely towards the dead end.”
Next week the last track: DARK AND COLD!
