"I have used glass food storage containers almost exclusively for the last several years. I have two young children who I was looking for a solution for their lunches, stack in the refrigerator, microwave and put in the dishwasher so these seemed to do everything I needed. I really liked that they did all of the above and that the tops snapped on and snapped between the sections to have a secure seal around each individual container. I don’t think this will keep liquid in individual sections, but it will keep food from getting into another compartment. I was able to give these to my children without having to dirty another plate and my kids were able to use the sides to help get food onto their utensils.
The reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because there was a small piece of the corner missing on several of the containers, it won’t affect the way that it is used, but I did notice it.

Monday night dinner: Spinach Mushroom Masala (using the Not-So-Curry Base). 🍲Ingredients: 1.5 cups Base, ½ tablespoon oil, ½ teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 cup spinach, 2 cups mushroom. 🍲Heat oil, add cumin seeds, and let it sputter. 🍲Add the Base, and let it simmer for 5 minutes. 🍲Add the spinach, and let it simmer for 2 more minutes or until the leaves wilt. 🍲Add the mushrooms and cook until tender. 🍲Start to finish, this dish took me 12 minutes! Super easy and healthy — just serve with a carb (flatbread, rice, and quinoa are all great options and can be made ahead as well!). 🍲I didn’t feel the need to adjust any of spices but when using the Base, it is always a good idea to taste and adjust, as it depends more on what ingredients you are using with it. 4 more days of quick dinners coming up 👩🏽🍳 Any guesses on what I’m making tomorrow?

My best friend send me this picture a while ago and honestly I was just shocked, shocked that a few years ago this was just me... like hello could I look even uglier?🤭😩 I had to look twice because I absolutely didn’t recognise myself in the left picture anymore. I’ve changed so much the last 5 years it’s incredible!!! When I see the left picture I see a girl that had no confidence at all, that was wearing kilos make up to have a little confidence anyhow, a girl that was partying every week and ate 1 big milka chocolate bar a day, sounds like a total messy life right?😂
I feel blessed that one day I moved my ass and decided to change my life completely and set a goal for myself. I needed so because deep inside I wasn’t happy at all. I wanted to grow into a confident woman, I wanted to be proud of myself and achieve something in my life. Fitness was the ultimate solution for me. Now 3,5 years stronger it feels like my second home. I call it nothing but a big passion. This journey so far has learned me a lot. The biggest lesson until now is that you can achieve anything as long as you put in efforts, determination and patience and most important BELIEVE in yourself. 🤗♥️ Also I hear a lot of people saying they can’t build a strong beautiful body anymore because of their age, let me tell you one thing; this is a big excuse!! How to stay consistent?⬇️
Trying to get out of my comfort zone because I want to be helpful. I found the easiest and tastiest (for me) meal prep for myself to stay consistent however, if I keep eating this way (eggs in the morning, salad/nourish bowls for lunch and protein oatmeal or sautèed veggies with some lean protein source), I won’t be helpful for you! So I decided to make new recipes, share with you and show you the way so YOU can find your comfort zone. If you find something you love cooking and eating —> just hold on to that! Keep cooking the same things over and over again and make your “diet” sustainable this way!
🍝Today I got out of my comfort zone and cooked myself whole wheat pasta with meatballs and of course with a side of salad because that’s what I LOVE the most and I don’t like small portions!😬
👇🏻Here are some of my advices I can give for you to stay consistent;
1️⃣Have a plan ( a workout and a diet plan)
2️⃣Have short term goals (daily, weekly)
3️⃣Don’t think, just do! (sometimes focusing and overthinking on the things you have to do might seem very overwhelming)
4️⃣Start small (instead of cooking for 3-4 days, start with 2 days)
5️⃣Stick to the plan that works for you (if you are seeing results, there is no need to change the plan)
All of these above work pretty well for me and hope they work for you too!🤗

Lunchhh! Rice with tofu stir fry! So good! The improvised the recipe: drain the firm tofu from water by wrapping it in paper towels and placing a heavy plate over it to realllyyyyy get all the excess water out for 30 mins. While that’s pressing, mix the sauce - soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sesame seeds (I adjusted all my own servings because I wanted less sugar and no corn starch). Mix it till the sugar dissolves and set aside. Cut the tofu in cubes after it’s done pressing and coat it with 2 Tbsp of cornstarch (again I didn’t use this, so I just grilled it plain) and grill it on all 6 sides using some vegetable oil and set aside. Using the remaining oil, grill the broccoli and green beans till the sides get slightly brown. Stir the sauce and pour it over the vegetables. The sauce gets thick real fast so make sure to mix it quickly. Turn off the heat and add in the tofu. Enjoy it over rice :)
