ALL the shopping! And all done before noon. 👍🏼🍀 We’re hosting a St. Patty’s shindig tonight so you’ll see lots of onions, potatoes, scallions, and bacon to make colcannon, and corned beef! I’m gonna have to look up some Irish soda bread recipes, too. 🍀 For the rest of the week we’re eating leftovers (I hope) plus egg roll in a bowl (cabbage, scallions, ground pork); buffalo chicken bake (eggs, chicken, shredded mozzarella, cream cheese, ranch mix, hot sauce); tacos (shells, refried beans, salsa, shredded cheddar, ground turkey); and a stock-up on flour, cocoa powder, butter, salt (did you know it’s possible to actually use up a whole container of salt?! 😂), romaine lettuce, cheese crackers, and almond milk. 🍀 I also picked up dry shampoo, hair clips, toothbrushes, Tyler’s dentist-recommended toothpaste, and some frivolous things. I’m obsessive about the Aromatherapy pillow spray from Bath & Body Works, but found a cheap version at TJ Maxx. I found a cheap version of Poo-Pouri too! 😂 And I used a $10 gift card at B&BW on the candle which was already on sale, so I spent $4 out of pocket. 🍀 Perfectly within the budget, even with some fun stuff! 🍀 Anyone else cooking a traditional Irish meal tonight? I’d love to hear about your recipes! 🍀 #debtfreecommunity#debtfreejourney#debtfreehustle#aldihaul#bathandbodyworks#stpatricksday#mealplan#groceryhaul
“You will be unappreciated. You will be sabotaged. You will experience surprising failures. Your expectations will not be met. You will lose. You will fail. How do you carry on then? How do you take pride in yourself and your work?
John Wooden’s advice to his players says it: Change the definition of success. “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”

Me too! I don't usually reccomend weighing yourself every day due to the fact that the scale isn't the best indicator of results, but the fact is that many people have been doing this for years and it's a hard habit to break. BUT if someone is going to weigh themselves every day they need to keep a few things in mind.
⚖Weigh yourself first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything and after using the bathroom.
⚖If the scale went up a couple pounds don't worry about it, you didn't gain that much fat in one day! What could be going on? You had a little extra water, salt, carbs, had a great workout the day before, ate later in the day, didn't get as much sleep, have more stress than usual...The list goes on. Hopefully you're getting the point that what the scale says on an individual day doesn't really matter, which leads us to the next and most important point.
⚖TRACK YOUR WEIGHT! The whole point of weighing yourself consistently should be to see what the overall trend looks like. What we really want to watch is the weekly average not the day to day fluctuations. #MyFitnessPal , #Fitbit , and #Apple Health are just a couple of the apps that allow you to log your daily weight, see your weekly average, and then graph it out.
When most of us start our health and fitness journeys we want to look and feel better, the scale is a really bad indicator of both of these which is why I still don't usually suggest weighing yourself all the time. If you are going to weigh yourself just make sure you're getting the most out of it and don't flip out if the scale goes up a bit randomly one day, it's going to do that.
On the go or on the go? #volume#nutrients#beprepared
Yesterday I broke down for an rx bar due to being completely unprepared. I was ravenous afterward and was a great reminder why I’ve been staying so prepared. Both are around the same calories a and I know which one I would rather be having. How about you??
FOOD PREP - Tips & Time savers
• PLAN -Look ahead at your diary for the week and plan the meals you are in control of -Use this plan as a guide for your shopping list in terms of buying your protein and carb sources as well as vegetables - Choose versatile protein sources, which allow you to incorporate into different meal types - e.g, chicken/turkey burgers, meatballs, or chicken strips seasoned with spices • PREPARE - Wash, cut and prepare your veg before you start cooking
- Freeze any left over veg - this way it won't go off, and you can use if you need any for an emergency meal! - Cook one meal at a time, this may seem as if you are prolonging the process, but it will save you time in the long run!
• DO's - Do take your time - don't rush! A few hours carefully planning, preparing and cooking will save you ample time during the week
- Use a variety of seasonings - homemade / prepared
- Incorporate a sweet clean treat into your food prep that you will look forward to, and enjoy eating
• DON'T - Don't make the same meal for every single one of your meals, you will get bored and will be more likely to end up making a spontaneous decision
- Don't think of your food prep as a chore - enjoy the process!

Hit the gym early and thought of a major 🔑 to gainz...pick the right weight! On set 3, the weight was too much so I clearly used my back to generate the motion. So for my last set, I dropped the weight 10 pounds, and I was much happier with the form #nobullxs
