All you need is styrofoam, mason jars, a small box to hold the jars, Dowel sticks (to hold the jars in place) flowers of your choice, burlap twine, gray and white paint, and material for the lids of you choice!
Look at these beauties from @stringingyoualong83. I just love when you come across really cool and unique wall decor. Check out her page to see some of the different ways she’s styles them with flowers. I think this is going to be a must have. #farm#farmhouse#masonjars#farmliving
Been back for one day and I’m already out of breath and burnt out. Got a lot done today but still so much to do 😩but it’s fine so close to spring break. Did another day of 21 day fix it was Pilates day and here is post workout dinner. One frozen banana, chocolate shakeology scoop, tablespoon of peanut butter, tablespoon of chia seeds and of course water! Blend it all up and you have gold in a glass! #shakeologyrecipes#21dayfix#happymonday#masonjars#easydinner

In high school I begged my parents to let me live in the attic - a small room with an illegal staircase that i thought was so special because of its tilted walls, old wooden floors, and unique corner-fitting sink. I forever have liked living in tiny spaces and minimizing the “stuff” I have. It forces me to take inventory of what is truly important to me. What I really need to get by, and what is fluff. I don’t like the fluff. .
During this move I have tossed crap that I didn’t even realize I had. I donated a bunch of clothes + books. I went through every piece of paper and trinket to ask myself what is necessary vs what is not. What brings me joy / what serves me in some way vs what doesn’t. Keeping all my food (and spices, not pictured here) in refillable jars is not only a zero-waste thing, but provides me with a more intimate connection to them. I cherish the moments of bulk shopping and feel a greater sense of fondness for the food I keep around. I used to throw away or recycle every box of oatmeal or vessel of cayenne pepper, and within the last year I have committed to not doing that. It makes me more conscious of the things I keep in my tiny space. So here’s to more jars, and less fluff 🤙🏼 (PS yes I wash our old pasta and salsa jars — and I’m accepting the ones you don’t want!)
