How To Incorporate Fasting Training While Doing Intermittent Fasting: Gain strength in the gym consistently by training right before your first meal
Avoid Training First Thing In The Morning
If you can, refrain from working out early in the morning. You will probably be hungry right after your workout is over. By eating too early in the day you will have less room for additional calories from your later meals. This can make it very hard to stick to a caloric deficit if you're trying to lose fat.
Have Your First Meal After Your Mid-Day/ Early Evening Workout
The caveat here is I said after instead of before for a couple of reasons. The first is some people experience nausea if they eat before a workout. You don't want to be getting sick at the gym.
Next up is you can look forward to having a nice feast once your workout is done. Your first meal should be high in protein with some filling carbs to help boost muscle growth and glycogen💪 With this approach you only need to eat 2 meals a day and you will still lose fat!
Forgo The Cardio
This ties into the first point. Doing cardio right after your workout during the fasting period isn't a good idea. We are on day 1 of our semi annual marriage retreat. We weren't sure we could make it happen as our childcare (thank you Mom and Dad!) lined up during our no spend month!

1. A generous co-worker of Sam's is letting us use their beautiful rental cabin in the mountains fo' free, yo!
2. Sam LOVES cooking, so he laid out a menu for the weekend and plans on cooking!
3. I borrowed a movie from the library for a little mindless entertainment.
4. Sam created an itinerary that includes free YouTube yoga classes and lots of visioning and values talk.
