Had a nice long lunch break after morning coaching sessions with clients, so took advantage of sunny (but chilly) weather and went for a run. It was my second post surgery run with my dog Naya. She’s getting the hang of it and not pulling me so much. Man, is she fast! I think she’s going to make a great running buddy eventually. She’s already staying closer to me. Today was 30 minutes and it felt great!! Slowly building my mileage back up. #norcallove#amrunning#caninerunningpartner#lunchtimerun
I have been pretty silent lately as life has taken over - I’ve been dealing with a niggle in my ankle which is still playing up, but I’ve managed to get out and do a 5k for the past two days which has helped me take a deep breath and calm myself down. I’ve also moved out of my lovely little flat into a bigger, newer flat across the common, but who knew how stressful moving could be - has anyone else SOBBED moving out of a home? Lastly, I’m winding down to leave my current job and move on to a new, very exciting adventure. In other words, everything is changing and I’ve been wobbling. Hopefully things will calm down a bit soon and my ankle will be on the mend, so I can start clocking up the miles again. Thanks for bearing with me - tears and trainers will get some more love soon, I promise!
Making my start of the work week like a Sun Day. #lunchtimerun However, I heard someone say on the radio that if the Sun ☀️ is so hot why does it get colder the further you get away from the earth 🌏
