Guess what? .
Yoga is for EVERY BODY. .
Your body right now, exactly as it is, is PERFECT for yoga. .
The space you have? That small spot on your living room floor? Ya also PERFECT for yoga. .
It frustrates me (but I’m also completely empathetic) that we are so conditioned to think we have to be ______ or _________ to do ________. Guess what? That’s total BULLSHIT. It just is. You put limitations on yourself based on what you believe from all sorts of experiences & input from your environment, society & other people. But guess what? The only person who can actually make those decisions about what YOU can and can’t do, is YOU. .
So empower yourself. Give yourself permission to do the things you want to do. Whether it’s yoga or roller derby or dancing or surfing or WHATEVER floats your friggin boat. .
You get this one life experience in this body. So don’t limit yourself on beliefs that don’t line up with your own hearts desires. .
Give. Your. Own. Damn. Self. Permission. To. Do. Whatever. The. Flip. You. Want. To. Do. 🙌🙌🙌
It’s more than likely you’re not giving your body enough credit. (And shes bored out of her mind 🤪) .
I put off taking my yoga teacher training for YEARS because of what I look like. 😳 I wish I was kidding. But the sad truth is, I’m not. And now I know how ridiculous that sounds & is...
You know that saying, “this isn’t a dress rehearsal?” I always thought 🤮 when I heard that, but now I’m like, Fuck ya it’s not!😂 it really isn’t. Live your life on your terms & make your own rules. Do what you love. Try all the things. Get rid of unrealistic expectations & know that perfection does NOT exist. .
Just do you boo ✌️😘
I’m learning that you have to teach some people how to treat you. And because NO ONE is perfect, mistakes happen. But if it’s the same issue, then that shows a lack of respect for your feelings. It’s ok to set boundaries. It’s ok to forgive, but that does not mean you have to keep yourself in the position that allows for it to happen again. Disrespect is often subtle. And you don’t have to tolerate it. Not at all... not even a little bit. #loveyourselffirst#selflove#demandrespect#assertion#fearless#godsplan
I really do love sharing these with you, hope you feel the same!
Theme of the week last week for me was 'gaining perspective'.
Yes I burnt out a bit again and had a couple of rough mental days, but, what really helped was hitting the brakes completely over the weekend and putting all my tools down to refresh my mind and Heart.
Away from all of it, it made me realise that in the context of everything - the world, history, time - what I was DOING wasn't the most important thing in the world. I am in fact just a fleeting moment and a tiny drop of life in something unimaginably vast and beautiful. .
And so what really does matter the most is for me to be at peace with this slice of life and to feel joy and to give - no matter the outcomes around me. I think this is what I want the most.
For some reason the ocean always gives me perspective and maybe the next time I get a really harsh negative comment, or the next time I fail, have my heart broken or am frustrated that I'm not progressing fast enough - maybe I'll come back and read this and realise this again - that nothing is worth sacrificing my joy or peace. .
Would love to hear your thoughts! What's your special place that helps you get perspective?
Thanks for tuning in SoulTribe and wishing you a beautiful week ahead! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕
Becoming a health coach has been the best decision I've ever made! I had so many doubts when I first started (I'm not at my goal weight...why would people want me as their coach was my main doubt). I've gained so much confidence in the past year along with a community of amazing people who love and support me no matter what. These wonderful ladies also push me everyday to be the best I can be. Without these new connections I have no idea where I'd be today (probably still self doubting myself everyday). I'm more positive than I was a year ago and have become so much stronger, not just physically but mentally as well! And on top of all of those amazing things, I've been able to earn a little extra income to help me pay off some bills and save a little extra! The opportunities really are endless. I know some amazing ladies who are earning 6 and 7 figures a year from this opportunity. We all start out the same way (not having a clue what we are doing) but what is great about this opportunity is that you have trainings to help you learn the business and it's really up to you how much time you put into this part time job and how successful you could be! I have some friends who have been able to quit their full time jobs to be a full time stay at home mom and coach. How awesome is that! A little hard work can really pay off in the long run!
I would love to invite all of you to a coaching opportunity where you can learn more about this amazing opportunity to not only better yourself and help others but also the opportunity for financial freedom or some extra income to pay a bill here and there! If you'd like more info about this fun and exciting opportunity to be a coach, message me or leave your favorite emoji below and I'd love to chat with you about how this opportunity could look for you! 🙌🙌

“Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it”... whoaaa did you need to re-read that like me?! Goodness! Mindset can radically change all situations... so girl, Wake Up, Workout, Shower Up, Do your hair, smile and wink at yourself in the mirror as you start your day and TELL YOUR SELF YOURE BEAUTIFUL, CREATED WITH PURPOSE and then go have a FREAKIN AWESOME day!!☀️
Hold your head held high with confidence!!! Life is too short and too purposeful to let any kinda negative thoughts or people sink your ship. Take that ship and SAIL AWAY GIRL!! Nobody has time to live in a box, afraid, in doubt, always worried, stagnant or simply not living up to their potential bc of what others may think. FORGET THAT!! Fire yourself up! 🔥 BACK YOUR SELF. Be an influencer not influenced. Blaze a trail. .
At the end of the day, YOU are the one who lives with YOU full time 🤣So say buh-bye to that negative self-talk. The more you affirm who and who’s you are, the more you will actually become THAT girl. So SPEAK LIFE; your words have power to change EVERYTHING!🙌🏼
I'm so glad and proud that my daughter's @iam_ebonynicole and @mommydamac have a sense of self worth and self love. And my son @_bennychakra doesn't want that type of female. I didn't and don't have to worry any of that.. #raisedright#havesomeselfrespect#loveyourselffirst
Turn your gaze inward.
Mira hacia dentro.
