pretty tiring weekend! surprised myself with a third placed at stage 1 road race, im really dissapointed onmy time trial result, 4th placed i know i can do better on it, but the body doesnt want to respond after, surprised myself again in circuit race for hanging with the guys till the end, 4th placed, although i lost my second placed spot on GC, hanging i third for 11 seconds is not bad, stage racing is tough! the race was short staff, waiting for the results was another challenge, no podium pics because the other guys cannot wait that long. congrats to my elite teammate Daniel Stark for taking 3rd in time trial, and 4th placed over all in his field #cbreracing#guforit#probar#livermorecyclery#diablopool#diablothrophy

Didn’t think I’d be able to bust out my new @coeursports tri kit until next year, but these October summer days have allowed otherwise. Last training ride of the season... Marin County Triathlon coming up this weekend! 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️
Hi current and former shop riders!
The Saturday ride will resume on 10/21.
The Tuesday mountain climb will also resume on 10/16. We will be leaving the shop at 8am (adjusted for the season). We'll continue these unless it rains or the temp gets too chilly!
The Wednesday ride will resume on 10/17 and it will incorporate a new/return rider component. I've received several requests to include those riders who are trying to get back on the road. We will run the ride as a no-drop with re-groups along the way. #livermorecyclery#bicycle#bikeshop#familybusiness#shopsmall#cbre#eastbay

"How do you have so much energy?" Something I'm asked all the time. And I do feel energized and motivated most days...but I have plenty of "off" days. And I get in a funk when I find myself in limbo land...those spaces of time where one thing ends and another has yet to begin.
Limbo sucks for a type A planner person like me who thrives in a routine. But it's in these transitional times I learn to relax a little more, listen to my mind and my body, and reflect personally and professionally.
And as I begin seeing the roadmap ahead unfold the energy I once thought I lost shows up. It never really left it just had to be repurposed and creatively challenged. It also has to let go of attachments to people, places and things so room can be made for new growth.
Growth can be scary though. Growth means showing up for yourself, others and the commitments you make. Growth means trying new things and taking chances. Growth means you can succeed but that you can also fail. Either way you learn something and you are energized by the unknown and the journey.
So yes, I've got a lot of energy...because I don't just have one dream, I have many. My dream is to be a great mom, wife and friend. My dream is to love where I live so much I help others realize that same dream. My dream is to enjoy challenging my body and inspiring others to feel the power and strength in their minds and bodies. My dream is to one day swim, bike and run my way to qualifying for the @ironmantri World Championships! .
Four years ago tonight I became an Ironman competing in the hardest race I've ever experienced...@Ironmantri Lake Tahoe! Enduring and finishing that race helped me learn so much about myself. Looking back on all the amazing family and friends that supported me and stayed with me...cheering me on to the finish also taught me how much LOVE I'm surrounded with. Nothing could make me happier and feel more appreciative of what I have and where I am today. It means even more knowing that as I set my sights on reaching new goals and milestones that I'll still be surrounded by that same LOVE!
Being able to follow my passions that burn like wildfire within is the greatest form of fulfillment I've found. But it wasn't until I loved myself while following my passions that I found pure joy!
So excited for what's to come! .
