Single, married or somewhere in between, THIS is the episode for you to listen to NOW. ◽️
Infidelity comes in more forms than having a physical or emotional affair. There’s also something called financial infidelity and it happens everyday in both subtle and blatant ways.
Keeping secret stashes is financial infidelity. Hiding purchases in the car and sneaking them in when your spouse isn’t looking is financial infidelity. Not telling your fiancé the truth about your debt or hiding credit cards from one another is financial infidelity. ◽️
But there is hope if you’ve experienced any of this. You don’t have to let it ruin your relationship and my guests this week, Talaat + Tai McNeely, aka @hisandhermoney, are living proof that restoration is possible and you can be better than you were before. ◽️

Presenting Professor Graham Rook, who will be speaking at our TEDxLSE: Brought to Light even on March 10th. Prof. G.A.W. Rook BA MB BChir MD, UCL (University College London). Graham Rook is emeritus Professor of Medical Microbiology at UCL (University College London). He was educated at the University of Cambridge and at St. Thomas’ Hospital London. He became professor of medical microbiology at UCL in 1994. The theme of his research was initially the immunopathology of tuberculosis, but in recent years GR’s focus has been the application of a Darwinian perspective to the effects on health of diminishing exposure to microorganisms, and of the changing composition of our symbiotic microbiota. GR coined the expression “Old Friends Hypothesis” to highlight a Darwinian re-interpretation of the hygiene hypothesis in 2003. Recently, in collaboration with neuroscientists and psychiatrists, this thinking has been applied to certain forms of depression and other psychiatric disorders that are accompanied by persistently raised biomarkers of inflammation.
Title of TEDxLSE talk: “Our microbial partners, and how to look after them”
A striking quote:-
“We are not individuals…. We are ecosystems”
