It took a lot for me to post this picture. I never thought I would be able to pull off a real bikini. I can’t express how thankful I am for @weightwatchers and the lifestyle changes I have gained over the last year. I can’t wait to rock this suit in Palm Springs in a few weeks!
Being a High School math teacher was an experience that I look back fondly on. I enjoyed what I did and who I worked with. It was not easy when it came time to leave this job and start a new chapter in my life. ⠀
I knew that more than anything, I wanted to be able to stay at home with my children. I wanted to be there when they woke up, see their milestones, be a substantial influence in their lives, and someday homeschool them. ⠀
I knew that leaving my career would effect us financially but it was important enough to me and my husband that we decided to make it work despite any difficulties. ⠀
Maybe you have dreams to be with your kids more while they are young but don’t know how you can and work a full time job at the same time. I know we did. ⠀
Then a friend asked me a simple question, “Have you considered….” That’s what made me think and pray about where I should go. I know I had God’s peace, didn’t know what I was doing or where it would go, but I went. ⠀
And it changed it all. It would allow me to stay at home with my kids, help people, do something I loved, and eventually not miss the income that I was giving up. The great thing is that I can walk you through exactly what I did and make this work for you too! I didn't have special training before I started. It was all "learn on the job." ⠀
Imagine being able to love what you do AND stay at home with your children!⠀

You WILL be hungry during a diet because (if you’re doing it right) your body will be in a calorie deficit.

Make sure you read her full post below and start choosing more high volume, low calorie foods like the ones listed above to curb that “starving” feeling that no one wants during a diet.
🙇🏼♀️I’m pretty fuming right now I thought that I’d made the word “fantabulous“ up but it’s in my spell check so I obviously haven’t.
🙆🏼♀️ Feeling hungry isn’t actually a bad thing. The whole “I’m starving” phrase we hear & use so often makes it sound way more dramatic than it is.
👍🏻Experiencing hunger in-between meals doesn’t mean you’re starving. It’s just an indication that your body is perhaps ready for some more fuel.
💖That said it doesn’t mean it’s at all pleasant or that there aren’t things you can do to minimize by including some of these “yummy “ low calorie higher volume foods.
👏🏻Dont forget your tummy feels full because of food volume not calories.
💁🏼♀️ “Eat your protein” I know I sound like a broken record but honestly I think some people still don’t quite believe the difference it can make to appetite levels.
🏆 Combined with yummy fruits & veg these will help to keep any bouts of “hangry” behaviour at bay which if you’ve experienced it you’ll understand how much it can influence mood, energy & your ability to make good decisions.
💕 I included the calories to try & help you get some perspective on how few calories some foods contain to help you understand the concept of “eating better not less” To this day courgette/zucchini & strawberries sit at the top of the choice chart.

This one really took me by surprise and made my day. Kristen’s transformation is something to be applauded... I want you to take a look at her face in the before picture, this is how MOST of us feel when we are not feeling amazing about ourself, our health or our appearance.. MOST people are just afraid to do what she did, which was take her life back into her control.

🤔 is this a re-occurring habit you have formed? A nasty binge/restrict cycle that seems to go on and on? “I’ll start on Monday” “ I ate so much last night I’m going to be so good for the rest of the week?” Look at this habit and figure out if being so restrictive during the day is impacting your will power to make healthier choices in the evening or is it your body is so under nourished and under fuelled by the end of the day? I can guarantee that a Greek yogurt at breakfast and a salad at lunch will add up to max approx 600 calories!
If you fill your body with plenty of whole unprocessed food that is rich in protein, healthy fats and slow releasing carbohydrates throughout the day, you will be less likely to binge on unhealthy foods in the evenings! This will help break the binge/ restrict cycle that is stopping you from achieving your goals and create a better relationship with food!
Don’t starve yourself because you believe it’s the way to a healthier you! it’s only sending you down a path of misery and will create long term mental and physical health problems! Instead enjoy plenty of whole nourishing foods and treats in moderation and build sustainable habits that will fit into your lifestyle and reap the benefits of long term results! No more fad diets, no more meal replacement shakes and no more juice/ tea detoxs !!
Transformation Tuesday!!!Meet my very 1st client who just wanted to lose those last 10lbs and she did.It took her 3 months to accomplish her goals of weight loss,more energy and understanding what to eat after her workouts!!!She did it slowly by trying new things and experimenting with different foods to fuel her body.She also listened to her body and gave herself some rest days which is vital for muscle recovery and hormonal balance.She also incorporated meditation into her daily routine and found time for her.Amy is a rock star in and outside of the gym.She is finding a nice balance in her life and is such an amazing athlete.She is strong and works hard!!!She has found what works for her and I am so excited to be able to help her reach her goals!!!!!Love when that happens!!!💗💪🏋️♂️🙏🍓🥥🥤🥦😀

Due to my inability to make kombucha, I've been drinking beets!
Taking beets, salt, and water forms a kvass after a week.
It's easier than roasting, juicing, or chomping down on a beet like Dwight schrute 🙃
Beets are full of methyl groups (great for anti aging on a DNA level). Beets also make you better at sex and sports! Beets improve nitric oxide production which means better blood flow.

Over stimulation following my latest fertility treatments have my ovaries going loco & I’ve retained about 4.5kg (10kg) water in the past two days. This makes my #bariatric mind 🤯. “I Can Do Hard Things!!” is the mantra i kept repeating during today’s workout— Cardio Flow
It was all about mind over matter because let me tell you, NO amount of refeed day fuel or Energize would get me through this workout today. Between the non-stop cardio, sweat everywhere, soreness everywhere, & feeling like throwing up doing inchworms (it’s getting better every week, its just not my move). I needed to get my head in the game.
Yes i can do hard things. And yes i survived.
When I wasn’t training and having to have a strict diet, my diet was a lot more flexible and I had a lot more freedom to choose what I wanted to eat. The truth is, this was my life from 2004-2017. That’s right, 13 years of building a healthy relationship with food that allowed me to still have foods I loved all while losing weight AND keeping it off! Building a cheat meal into my weeks here and there is one of the things that have helped me have a sustainable lifestyle! Lunch today- air fried wontons 😍 it’s been so long since i made these!! I love them. ⠀⠀ Tea business is a serious business. I had the opportunity to experience some Turkish tea with a Turkish native and fellow tea connoisseur a couple weeks ago. Watching the brewing and steeping methods of this particular blend was interesting. Not to mention, I’d never had any imported tea before. Admittedly, if I’m not drinking a blend curated by @RiddlesTeaShoppe, I am patronizing my first love, @teavanatea. 🍵 ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ A common question I see floating around the bookish community is coffee vs tea. My question is, however, directed towards tea lovers: what is your favourite blend? I’d love to stretch my feelers out a little more and experiment outside of my normal varieties like I did with my friend Moustafa. Any suggestions?
⠀⠀ My preferred tea time is all day. 👀 It’s become apart of my self care routine and workout regime as well. Under the weather? Drink some white tea. Need a boost of energy? Give me some black tea. Trying to wind down? Bring on the chamomile tea. Limiting the amount of coffee I drink and replacing it with a nice brew befitting the occasion has had a positive impact on my mood, my general health, and my pocketbook. It’s also been a conscious effort, and I hope that once I restock on some green tea, my coffee cravings will drastically decrease and my energy levels won’t be subject to whether or not I’ve had a cup in the morning.
