Karangahake Gorge was one of the most pretty and interesting places I have been too ⛰🙏100% recommend everyone near or passing by to definetly check it out 🙌💕🕉🌿 🌸WEARING @official_southeast WOMENS WHITE ORIGINAL TEE 🌸
Last month, we went to Oatman, Arizona. In Oatman, wild donkeys hang around downtown. We didn't have anything to feed them, but they still liked following us around. I even got to pet a few. If you are travelling on Route 66 you definetly have to stop here. #livesunscripted
Spent the last few days hanging out at some hot springs in the Coconino National Forest. Be on the look out for many more photos on our Facebook - https://m.facebook.com/expyadventures ..
The Tassie rap.
For anybody in the planning stages of their big lap .....Tasmania is a must! We’ve just finished our time here and, in my opinion, 5 weeks was just the right amount of time. We never felt we left any spot too early and haven’t missed anything we set out to do, other than Cradle Mountain, but that was a weather issue rather than the timetable one.
The “Apple Isle” offers up some of the best produce in the country, spectacular wineries, wilderness and coastlines that really need to be seen and experienced to be believed. It’s also steeped in history. We’ve certainly had our fair share of food and wine and supported many, many small businesses along the way.... wineries, cheese makers, restaurants .... Highlights have been Bruny Island, Port Arthur, Freycinet National Park and the Wild West Coast. Make the effort to get over to the West, it really is worth it.
We’ve given quite a few H.O.T tips over the last month in Tassie on our FB page. Our final H.O.T tip is .......pack for a southern winter holiday, not a Queensland winter!!! Although we had exceptionally good weather for the first 4 weeks, we soon realised how quickly it could turn. We spent a few days around Cradle Mountain waiting for some good weather to do some walking. The temperature did not get over 9 degrees in the middle of the day...and this is summer!
What a great month!! Looking forward to our hot shower and cabin on the boat... and hopefully another smooth Bass Strait crossing.
