The world: bigger and smaller than we know; more beautiful than our dreams can imagine for us; more powerful than we expect; more loving and accepting; less scary and evil. This world, y’all. This world!
So we woke up yesterday to "Toocanoo! Toocanoo!" and discovered a boat precariously dragging towards our bow. His engine died and the current 25-30 knot Atlantic winds are pulling up and dragging anchors like crazy 😳 After a few VERY close encounters, we managed to maneuver out, thanks to a quick-thinking and skilled Captain (Mike) and a cautious and calm (on the outside) first mate at the helm (me). We've moved twice to a safer spot at the front of the anchorage, after experiencing not only the winds, but huge swells rolling in. As other boats tuck up, the dragging/near collisions have only increased... This pic is today's first piece of action, Mike attempting to help a fellow cruiser avoid hitting a neighbour. The second being a large cat that snuck in to now sit tight up to us and on top of another guy's anchor 🤦🏻♀️ #sothisisfun#takingthehelm#learningtheropes#bumperboats#timetomove#lifeonaboat
As I am working through deeply understanding the Yoga sutras, I am striving to practice every day as the sun first rises. I hear the birds chirping, the waves moving, the wind howling. I feel the subtle shifts of my muscles as they adjust to the movement of the boat on the waves. I feel the sun warming my skin and my heart beat faster as a response to physical action and sunlight. The most difficult thing to wrestle with is my mind. I am focused on modifications of the mind. Determining which thoughts are selfish or selfless. Determining which thoughts are leading me where and if there is a place I want to rest in. What is misconception? What is verbal delusion? #seaslifeforgood#seaslife
Mum finally experienced what I've been doing for the last year! 💣🤣🎆 Except we crossed Moreton Bay... not the Pacific 😂
Unfortunately the weather wasn't exactly ideal... 🙄😬
Thanks @markdrobitko for taking us out 😁
We had a day full of hugging on baby pigs, exploring Staniel Cay’s stunning private beaches, and riding on golf carts to groceries! We are hoping for good weather and winds on Monday, but until then, we rest, work on boat projects and enjoy! #seaslifeforgood#seaslife
I spent my day with these beautiful babies, went adventuring and a kind man picked us up on his golf cart and took us to a grocery store. Then we came home to do some writing work and turkey sandwiches, and headed back out to explore private beaches. A refreshing swim later, it’s time for a nap! #seaslifeforgood#seaslife

I don’t mean to fetishize nature. It’s brilliant and beautiful and changing me being so closely involved with it, but we as humans are incredible beings as well.
We tend to think “natural” or “nature” as the only right way, but when we do that we close our thinking and discount our human ability to learn and grow from it. For example, when we talk about natural birth we think of a birth involving no medications, no interventions.
But when a Hungarian doctor in the mid-eighteen hundreds (after observing thousands of births) tried to say, “Everyone needs to wash their hands before tending to a birth; it will save babies and mothers,” people thought he was crazy.
It wasn’t until Louis Pasteur came around several decades later to prove germs exist and suggested it could be playing a role in maternal mortality. Once everyone starting washing their hands, the maternal mortality rate reduced by 90%. Nature is awesome. What occurs naturally is awesome. But the human ability to observe, learn and adjust is pretty awesome too! I am seeing this in my own life as my perspectives, skills and abilities adjust and grow within nature!
Finally some #sun but still cold, I do miss a warmer #Climate though 💙 Did you know: The sun loved the #moon so much he died every night to let her breathe 🌞🌙 And in this country, he hides most of the day too 😝#LifeOnABoat are only for the tough souls thats for sure 😜

When I’m not on wellness calls or working on @ourwellwomen, I’m driving boats in half lotus on clear blue waters. We’re pushing nautical miles every day to get to San Salvador where we’ll be making a big hop to Puerto Rico!
The French influence in New Caledonia is unmistakable. But with 341 tribes throughout the islands, New Caledonia's Kanak culture is also just as present. Learn more about Kanak history and way of life at the stunning Tjibaou Cultural Centre, just outside of Noumea. https://goo.gl/Nx6jp5
I love living down under, but it's hard always hanging on my hands (I'm glad I did lots of hanging before I came here). It's been two weeks but still trying to figure out how to walk on my feet and not fell of the earth. Can't wait for my new @vivobarefoot package to arrive! Maybe those shoes going to help me stick with my feet to the ground easier, because these ones I'm wearing now was used to walk on walls in Panama. 🌀#rokasmove gets mad in #Australia have a great day folks! 🤙🏽
