Hello IG furrends! 👋 My Mom decided we needed a little break from social media ☹️ buttttt we are back!!! This is how I beg...chin down and on moms lap. Works like a charm! Can’t wait to catch up with all my friends.
This little lady has had a rough time the last few weeks. She has had a hard time getting up and is limping around quite a bit, mostly in the evenings. We took her to the vet for X-rays and it turns out she has a partially torn ACL on her left leg in addition to compression in her spine. She also has a lump that we think is just a fatty tumor but they are testing for a sarcoma to be sure. She just recovered from ACL surgery on her right leg. Although these are issues a dog can have at any age, I’m telling you, watching your older dog deal with any issues is so hard. You have this unconditional love and you want them to be with you forever yet you reach a point where you realize the time you get to spend with them becomes more and more of a blessing. Fortunately, besides the leg and spine issues, she is in very good health. I’m waiting for the results of the sarcoma but I’m not feeling too concerned that is what it is. Regardless, you hate hearing any words associated with cancer and I’m just really impatient about getting the results so we can move forward.
When you’re so into the Olympics you respond to every twist, turn & jump, and are nervous for your favorite competitors. Who else has Olympic fever? #TeamUSA 🇺🇸
Have the Olympics inspired you to try a new sport? While it’s not an Olympic sport, we want to check out (dog) skijorning. Since we’re moving to CO, we just may be able to do it one day!
