Fri-yaaaay! This week really flew by, but my mind really needs some rest so I am so ready for this weekend.
Can you feel the days getting longer and longer? I definitely can and feel so much lighter. The amount of daylight really influences my mood even though I am inside working for most of the day. I just really enjoy leaving the house in the morning and coming back home when it is already/still light outside. That's not entirely happening yet, but it is close 🌞🌞
Also nichts spannendes.
Mantra Meditation Technique
Choose your mantra. A mantra is a word or phrase that you silently repeat to yourself during meditation. The purpose of the mantra is to give you something to put your attention on other than your thoughts. You may use any phrase you like. Some people like to use words like "Peace" or "Love". You may wish to use the So Hum mantra. This is a commonly used Sanskrit mantra, which literally translates to "I am." It is often referred to as the mantra of manifestation. I like using the So Hum mantra because it is not in my native language and does not trigger any additional thoughts.

SUCCESSFUL NIGHT 😍 ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ I've been working on my crow variations(flying crow kills me, but I'm getting it!), and the best part is: BREAKTHROUGHS. I managed to not fall on my face inverting that crow for all of .2 seconds, and I'll take it. ♡♡♡♡ I've been feeling very inspired by all of my fellow yogis lately and I couldn't be more grateful for this motivation. I've been pushing myself in every department of life lately and I have to say, seeing this hard work pay off - totally worth all of it!💪 ☆Here's to many more fails to gain another success. I hope you're achieving what you set out for! 💕
Day 4 of #MyPracticeMyAsana is core strengthener! There are so many yoga poses that require core strength but I picked a funky boat pose for today. I also threw in a great core strengthening exercise that I learned the other day. It's a ladder boat circuit. Start in high boat and hold for 5 sec, then go down to low boat for 5 sec, then back up for 4 sec and then down for 4 sec and 3 sec, etc. until you get to 1 sec and then you increase the time to 2 sec, then 3 until you get to 5 sec. Hopefully that made sense lol. Rest for a bit then repeat that 2 more times and hopefully your core will be burning! 🔥🔥 I know mine was! I've never liked core workouts in the past but ever since I've been doing more yoga I've noticed my core has gotten much stronger! And now I have motivation to get a stronger core so I can hold my inversions!😁
I act from my heart and respond with love 💕 .

On Thursday’s I don’t teach classes. I take a personal day to do yoga and rest my body. One of my dreams is to keep teaching Spin and Yoga for as long as possible. The way I was going a couple years ago I was on a fast track to injury or burnout.
We all have different circumstances and responsibilities, but I don’t connect to the idea of an endless hustle with no rest or time to live outside work. I believe in practicing balance.
I’ve been working since I was 14 years old. I don’t know anything else and I’m grateful for the lessons my life has given me, but if you’re burnt out, uninspired, depressed... please take care. The world needs you and you deserve some peace and joy.
Drink water, meditate, do yoga, get an extra hour of sleep, see a therapist, whatever wellness tool will heal you, do it.
Also hugs. Hugs are good. 📷 @brittanyyybranch
"Be who you are"
One of my favorite mantras to live by.
Choosing to live in the present moment and through your truest self-expression. Be authentic. Be real.
Show up each day exactly as YOU are, and all the rest will fall into place.🙏
Some days this is what my yoga looks like. Messy, lots of forward folds, cat cows, and heart openers. Obviously not this fast, I sped it up for instagrams 1min video 😂. Just outside on my balcony, breathing and being with myself. I’ve been having lots of upper back and shoulder pain and recently tried cupping therapy for the first time. Listening to what my body needs. I’m feeling so much better today. Happy Thursday! 💙💙 #movement
So, what if instead of solving your whole life, you just think about adding additional good things. One at a time. Just let your pile of good things grow. @achievetheimpossible
Instead of trying to solve and figure out the answers and end results of your life, try and focus on the process. Focus on the day to day habits, mindset and people that build upon your character.
Add experiences, add memories that make your heart smile, add relationships that inspire you.
Stop calculating the sum of everything and counting what you have or don’t have and start focusing on adding more goodness in your life.
Start adding my friends!

Tonight we will be playing with asanas that require some back-bending. Let’s explore how this sort of shape balances our chakras and leaves us feeling more open in not only the body but the mind too ✨
