Often times if I have something heavy on my heart you will find me, like my grandmothers, puttering around in the kitchen!! (I really am a granny at heart☺️) It was a day of newness in the Craig house!
Tried an instant pot Lasagne!! You even put the meat in layered uncooked!! I have to admit i was a little skeptical and ALWAYS worry about undercooked meat but it turned out great and DONE!! Next a beef stew in the instant pot done in a short 30 minutes for the win!! I also pulled out the bread maker and tried it for the first time ever and made some rolls to go with the stew!! Meals like this were always such great comfort food growing up!! Fingers crossed my kiddos will enjoy as well!! I’ll keep you posted how these recipes go over With the fam jam and am happy to share!
Feels good having the next few nights of dinners done knowing I have something homemade on busy week nights!! It also means only one night of clean up!!😉👍😁 #mealprep#instantpot#homecooking#quickandeasymealprep#nomnom#lessmess#lasagne#beefstew#breadmaker#dinnerrolls
So as you all know I love our @gogreenlunchboxes so I've ordered a medium size (above pic for size) for our youngest daughter who has just started 3 year old kinder. I think it's the perfect size for her as she is only going a few hours a week. They also come in a few different colours, of course it had to be purple! Thank you @hellogreenau •
A frosty winter morning is not the time to be searching for socks. Take advantage of your time indoors and sort through your sock drawer and match them up! Toss the ones with holes and worn spots. Be creative with the lone sock without a mate. Sock puppets!! #tiptuesday
The road home is more than a road it’s a feeling you get. I had a house all my life in a suburban community among other houses that all looked the same and even though it wasn’t my ideal home the drive home was a journey of a thousand stories. Stories good and bad and bittersweet written by family and friends I traveled those roads with. This road home is somewhat new. These are the transition years the rough spot in our family history that needs lots more well worn travel time before I’ll know just exactly what the curves and bends in the road mean to me but the roads we travel I think were my very first inclination of simplicity. .
Another day, another book gone from the collection. This one is headed for the charity shop.
I backpacked in Southeast Asia and Western Australia as a teen and this was my “backpack budget bible.” It got so much use and so much love, but it is long overdue that I pass it on to someone else to enjoy! #thankyouandgoodbye
I regularly use stickers in my planner, diary and to-do lists. However, I remember these ones from my childhood. They’re easily 20 years old. I’m obviously not using them up, so I’ve passed them to a friend with kids #thankyouandgoodbye
The most impractical pen ever made. It is stupidly top heavy and came with no lid so it never worked. But for some reason I’ve owned it for 15 or more years. Whywhywhywhy? #thankyouandgoodbye
Galt Water Magic. If you haven't heard of them before you are missing out! We LOVE them. They are like Aquadoodles but in book travel form. They are wonderful for travelling/eating out or anything that requires no less and quiet toddlers.
Plus huge bonus Amazon Prime does them! Yay!
Another item I have no explanation as to why I’ve held onto it. This fancy watch pillow came with my watch. It is softer than any pillow I own. However, I store my watch elsewhere so this is surplus to need. Donated #thankyouandgoodbye
