"Snow provokes responses that reach right back to the childhood" - Andy Goldsworthy
With the weather not on our side and with plenty of time in our hand, we did what everyone else would do.
When the next morning we woke up to a lot of snow, we started building the Snow ... well we started with the Snowman and ended up building the Snow woman instead .... that too a hot one ;-) One of the lessons from the SnowLady .... Stay cool and enjoy life, as life is short!!
The Nubra Valley, once on the trading route that connected eastern Tibet with Turkistan via the famous Karakoram Pass, is the most recently opened area of Ladakh. Nubra invites you to a trip back in time into a nearly forgotten 'Shangri La'. With breathtaking views and delightfully hospitable inhabitants, it is quite an experience.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The unearthly beauty of Nubra Valley is best explored in the season in the months of July to September. The pleasant autumn season lets you enjoy the beautiful sight of the valley.
