Brush, floss, wine? 🍷
A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry suggests that polyphenols found in red wine can be protective to our teeth! The exact mechanism isn't known but somehow the chemicals keep plaque and bacteria from sticking to teeth (which is how cavities start). Before we start sipping wine to keep cavities away don't forget the harmful effects of acid also found wine!

I’ve learned that my best medicine is to slow down.
I am my best when I am present, as most of us are. This can be tough when you have an active mind like myself. Always wanting to do more, thinking up the next thing, weighing pros and cons, wondering why the motivated action hasn’t hit yet and what could I do differently to quicken things up.
I also think about what my future self would want to say to me.
“Slow down and just enjoy what you have in front of you. I love you, bigs things are happening and they are starting now with you being present.”
Trusting in a higher power that’s guiding me, protecting me, and working WITH me to create great things means that I don’t have to know all the answers. It’s my job to be present, a clear and open channel for ideas, and the best human being I can be each and every day.
Cleaning up the energy leaks so we can be more present is key. It’s helped me to slow down and enjoy life a lot more. I’ll be talking about that LIVE over on Facebook tomorrow at 8:30pm EST. Click the link in my bio to join the A.R.C group and get all the details. ✌🏼💜 #bigthingsareinstoreforyou#slowdown

The last AWOL adventures was at Coyote Rock Gym where students learned how to properly use a harness, how to fasten a rope to their harness and how to properly belay for another climber. Many of them also enjoyed attempting a few “bouldering” exercises, where they climbed trickier and shorter sections!
Built in 1898 as an exhibition hall for the Central Canada Exhibition, Aberdeen Pavilion is now a popular venue for weddings and other events. Last fall, it hosted @impactwrestling's 'Bound for Glory' pay-per-view event, produced in part by #Ottawa -based production company @thosecanadians.
During the e1 students' Drama session, students get to participate in a weekly Art class. This Art class, students practiced doodling, or better known in the art world as “zentangles”. It is obvious we have a very artistic and talented group of students!
