The trek to California for spring training has begun. This is what a trailer loaded with stuff for 4 horses and 3 girls for 2 weeks looks like! We drove all night and as I type this message we are approaching Barstow, CA. Knock on wood if all goes well only about 4 more hours to go. We re headed to Copper Meadows Training Facility in Ramona. 🇬🇧 PROFOUNDLY INVOLVED OR JUST INTERESTED? I have worked on projects where the main person was not that involved. And the level of involvement is crucial for the success of the project.
The question is: why are you planning this project? What are the first steps?
I believe you have to know your “why” if you want to succeed and remind yourself of it constantly.
The key steps are:
* communicate with authenticity and vulnerability.
* show who you really are..
* build a precise communication strategy.
* engage with your community.
* decide what you are prepared to sacrifice and the limits of your project.

La question est: pourquoi faites-vous ce projet ? Quels sont les premiers pas?
Je pense qu’il faut connaître son « pourquoi » pour réussir et se le rappeler constamment.

FINDING YOUR WHY
Many of us who embark on a fitness journey or aim to lose weight end up abandoning it because we don’t know our why. .
Your WHY needs to be visible to you. The driving force that gets you out of bed at 6am to go for a run or to do meal prep. The clearer you can be about your why, the more motivated you will be. Telling yourself “I want to lose weight” is too vague. Dig deeper and keep digging until it gets personal. The more connected you’re to it, the more likely it is to keep you motivated. .
Once you know your why and you can see it clearly, you will be driven towards your goal. Writing it down will help you stay connected to it. Journaling is one of the things that really helped me. Journaling is a powerful tool towards achieving your goals. .
It’s also important that your goal is realistic. I want to lose 6 stone in 6 weeks is not realistic. Don’t look at it as a short term big dramatic change. It’s more likely to be successful if it is a lifestyle change. One that you can stick to. Dramatically cutting calories is not a good idea. Having a slight calorie deficit will ensure that you lose weight slowly, while enjoying the process.

What drives you? What pushes you, despite your fear, beyond your comfort zone to the place of growth? It’s different for everyone and personal to you. Hope everyone had a great St. Patrick’s weekend! We had another busy, but fun weekend! Today concluded the 2018 Spring Classic Soccer Tournament. Didn’t come out on top, but proud of my 10 yr old’s team for being finalists in a higher age division. (That’s her in red battling for the ball.)
St. Patrick’s Day was spent watching the beautiful gathering of the creative minds of some amazing kids at the 2018 Odyssey of the Mind Regional Tournament. It was one of my proudest moments as a mom, most especially the mom of an epilepsy warrior.

These positive moments definitely outweigh some of the negatives we’re facing. Like I tell my children, life will throw you curveballs but you just have to keep swinging..
The struggle is real right now. Still trying to adjust to the idea of being single and mending a broken heart. We weren’t married so finances were separate, which is the silver lining because this doesn’t have a huge impact on my snowball. BUT....what does have an impact is my emotions. I’m an emotional spender and the “need” to get out of the house to keep my mind off this is killing me. I guess you could say I’m not dealing as well as I would like. The stuff I have purchased has been cash flowed but at the end of the day it should go to debt. 😭😭 It’s been a couple of weeks and I thought I was making peace with it and then someone asked me if I was single...answering yes to that for the first time in years put me back a few steps. #thestruggleisreal#ineedtofocus
Fighting a hook.. trail arm & shaft stuck on the 'inside' - rapid closing of clubface making it almost impossible to get the ball back on target consistently.
Working on torso rotation to allow the arms and shaft to get into a more neutral delivery position and produce a repeatable ball flight.

Ohne ein „Warum“ wirst du dein Ziel NIEMALS erreichen. Nie! Wer genau weiß warum er etwas will, wird einen Weg finden es zu bekommen. Ich sage immer, dass jeder Mensch eine Geschichte hat, die ihn zu dem gemacht hat, was er heute ist. Diese Geschichte bringt jeden von uns dazu das zu wollen, was wir wollen und so zu handeln, wie wir es nun mal tun. Werde dir klar darüber, was dein Warum ist & du wirst stärker, effizienter und ausgiebiger in deinem Tun! ✨
Du wirst feststellen, dass sich, je klarer dein Warum wird, umso mehr Dinge ändern werden. Es wird ein Zeitpunkt kommen, ab dem ist aufgeben keine Option mehr. Es gibt für dich nur noch durchziehen und dran bleiben. Und alles nur, weil du bis in die letzte Zelle weißt WARUM du es tust!
