@vappendaali is a supercool Finnish television and radio host in Finland. We met her at @ambientefair and fell in love 😍 !
One of her greatest passions - alongside the media work - is food and cooking. Her love and enthusiasm for cooking has become her second job and she has hosted her own cooking TV show. She has also published two bestseller cooking books, and one baking book.⠀
Vappu has now taken the next step in the world of kitchen and cooking with launching a whole series of table setting and cooking items with @muurladesign ⠀
Ps Carbon steel enamel is a fabulous cookware material which can be used on open flame campfires right through to induction cookers. On anything essentially! ⠀and is hygienic and damn easy to clean 👊

#funfact : the Basket stacking chair by Swiss designer Gian Franco Legler received the 'Good Design Award' in 1953 from @themuseumofmodernart in New York 🏆😎 An elegant and comfy chair with a classic design that places emphasis on both ergonomics and minimalism 👌🏼
Finally getting this glaze sorted. Sometimes it takes a lot of firings and a bit of tweaking to get the look, feel and function right. There are so many variables and so many options. These mugs are thrown with 600g of clay and should hold a good 1/2 pint of tea. The glaze has titanium and tin and a touch of copper to give a subtle white with a hint of pale blue where thicker. It also toasts the body: a mix of a reduction stoneware and 15% red earthenware at the glaze edge.
