It's interesting when you take your littles to establishments that make it clear they aren't kid friendly. It's never a sign on the wall ... it's always the glaring stare and the side comments they make from behind the safety of their register. We see you. We hear you. And we still gonna eat all the crepes. And we still gonna draw snowmen and write our names on the fogged up windows because that's what memories are made of. And kids will be kids. So even though they might not have wanted us there... We had the best brunch in what felt like Paris🗼🌱🗼 #ouioui#kidswillbekids#honestmotherhood#brunchbabes
A successful trip early in the morning on our grocery 🥗🥓🌽🥑🥦🍓🍎🍌🥝🥩🍠🍤 haul for the weekend. Took us an hr. with 1 child whining for the phone 😆😆 gotta love Z. .
How long does it take your family to shop?? Do you have a grocery list? What’s your weekly grocery budget?? I am carious 🤔🤔
I spend about 150-200$ weekly and that’s feeding 7-9 people a week x that by 4 equals roughly $600-800 a month. And this isn’t even counting 1-3x ordering out a month 🤔🤔 if you break it down OMG 😮 everything adds up.
// REAL LIFE // Now you would be forgiven for thinking that this photo shows an almost four year old fully engaged in dramatic play, because lets face it, thats exactly what it looks like! BUT sometimes, things aren't always what what they seem on good old Instagram. Sometimes those great photos don't tell the whole story. And sometimes it's easy to get caught up in everyone else's 'perfect' feeds, forgetting that life certainly isn't always perfect! .
There are times (plenty of them actually!!) that the activities I share don't go as planned. And even though I pride myself in posting nice photos (well at least I think they are! 😅) and I always try to show the activities that I set up in the best way possible, sometimes the photo alone just doesn't tell the whole story.
I would like to believe that I am pretty upfront when it comes to sharing both successes and complete disasters though, so I hope I haven't fooled anyone into thinking that the activities we do always run smoothly!
I read a comment left on one of my posts this morning that reminded me how important being honest with what we do can be to others who think they are failing, because what they set up for their kids doesn't happen like what they see on Instagram. Please remember that a photo doesn't always tell the whole story - it just captures a single moment in time 💕
So on that note, here's a 'perfect' photo, complete with its very own disaster story - head back a few posts to read all about how our safari small world was played with in a way that I definitely did NOT plan! And yes, even though Paige looks like she's playing, this photo actually captured that exact moment when Paige moved the hippo to get to the kinetic sand 😂 #reallife#kidswillbekids
Kids love diffuser jewelry too!
This pretty little package is for the Beechgrove fundraiser to raise money for the garage 7/8 trip!👍
Check out the beechgrove Facebook page to bid on some off the hook donations and to help ensure all the kids can experience the trip😊
