Dinner tonight was light and healthy. I wrote this recipe 2 years ago but I recently revisited it, left out the lentils, added zucchini noodles (and even topped with some parm tonight!) and created a super flavorful and delicious dinner that’s perfect for Passover, the perfect #meatlessmonday and all year round! See recipe in the comments, like this post and tag a friend who you think would love this!

Just a regular Monday night dinner hour around here. 😁
Turkey sausage stirfry for dinner tonight. And while these 2 monkeys are cutting the veggies, I am prepping Tuesday and Wednesday dinners as I am home late.
And yes I have patience for this on a Monday night but never on a Friday night.😆 #healthykids#healthyfam#kidsinthekitchen
B A N A N A S 〰 Hands up who else loves bananas? My babes and I smash through at least four daily. We load them in to our green smoothies, banana pancakes, banana and oat cookies, banana bread... the list goes on! It is #vegitup week over at @eatwelltasmania , I am following along for some new veggie inspiration and I will be posting more of our everyday meals and lunch boxes in my instagram stories. I love this pic of maggie from the Tasmania pantry cookbook 💕 eloiseemmett.com #thetasmaniapantry#homecooking#kidsinthekitchen#realfood
Did you know kids tend eat better when they have a hand in helping with shopping, preparing, cooking or serving their meal? That’s why it’s important to include kids in meal prep–even getting them to mix together ingredients or set the table can help! Yes, involving your kids can make the process a bit longer and maybe a bit more frustrating, but the benefits are huge and it’s worth it. Patience is key!👌
The spring is coming…soon... 😂
And the strawberries are also coming… soon 😍😋 So why we don´t create a beautiful Easter decoration just with strawberries? It´s suits perfectly for a red Easter, smells great, tastes even better, looks wonderful and it´s a good treat without chocolate.
We wish you lots of fun with it.

Kids in the kitchen 😊 Tipo made a yummy baked beans pizza with fried onion, graham masala, miso-tahin dressing and fresh coriander for lunch 😛 the dough is made by Niek a week ago and then put in the freezer - so everything took us 15 mins to make and 15 mins to bake 👌 #kidsinthekitchen#veganpizza
Someone didn't want to go to MDO today. She's been wanting lots of mommy time and cuddles. I think she's missing her grandparents a lot. We decided to make banana bread muffins! (Don't worry, cool touch oven)
Today we started preparing for Ramadan by making turkish food ( stuffed meatballs and sulu kofte ) for the freezer. It was a good practical life and fine motor activity because we measured the ingredients and rolled the balls. Plus we talked about all the delicious dishes we will make when we go to Turkey for Eid!
We did a mini science lesson this morning. 🤓🍍Last nights snow storm was so windy ❄️💨that our neighbors fence got blown down. Since spring is tomorrow, I thought it was appropriate to plant a pineapple in a penguin cup. 🐧I seriously have no clue what I'm doing so let's hope YouTube doesn't do me wrong. 😬#pineappleproject#hereshoping#bringonspring
This was from a week ago, when we were visiting my parents in Minnesota. Lydia putting together a fruit bowl, topped with homemade whipped cream. I think I'd like to try I have more "fancy" Sunday dinners. It was so nice to have good visits over good food. #fruit#sundaydinner#kidsinthekitchen#familytime
