So my husband caught our daughters cold. (You'd swear he was dying.)
So this was our quick hers & his taco salads for lunch. (This was ONLY possible because he is off today!) Had leftover taco meat and he distracted the little one long enough for me to pull these together. Otherwise who has time to wash lettuce?! 🤣
Mine had avocado, his had diced jalapeños.
My lunch was supposed to be the last of the creamed spinach, but when I sat on the couch to quickly throw it in my face a certain little girl insisted on eating it. And I mean ALL of it. She cried when I scraped the bowl for her and said there wasn't any left. #keto#ketolunch

2 year ago when I was in Disney, I realized I need to change to better myself, be healthier, and loss weight! In the three pictures on the side, I WAS MISERABLE! I wouldn’t take a full body picture, and if I had to..I’d stand behind someone to hide! It was then I made the decision to change! The moment I returned...actually on the plane coming home, I researched a MILLION different weight loss plans. Many that I had tried before! And they all FAILED! I was so desperate, I was paying $100 of dollars at a weight loss clinic! Quickly, I realized I could do it on my own, without ANYONE holding me accountable at a weight loss clinic! That’s when I chose to keep it simple and start cutting carbs! Later, much later, I realized I had chosen a ketogenic lifestyle! It has been the best lifestyle change for ME. Notice I do not call it a diet! Because that it isn’t! It is a lifetime change! I still enjoy food, but with a twist! I consume large amounts of fat each day...but eliminated the fake, processed foods that I used to eat. I use absolutely no weight loss supplements, added products, etc. I have done it all with a lot determination and a little hard work! My weight loss journey 🌹
I started off weighing 119kg, on August 2017. That's my highest. The Feb 2017 picture wasn't me at my highest. Im much more bigger than that. Unfortunately i don't have a picture of me at that time. Coz I'm very big, basically i don't take any picture of myself . I hate myself. Or i should say, i despise how i look at 119kg heavy. I'm 173cm tall. I looked like a man. And to be reminded of it was a pain to me. Thus, i don't take pictures and avoided it. On Dec 2017, i weighed 98kg. That's my lowest. I've lost a total of 21Kg, if my math is good. I don't have a picture to show my new body well coz i don't wear fitting clothes but i hope u can see the difference. My old clothes fit me well now. They are even a little bit loose but I like it that way. .
My health status before the weight loss, beside PCOS, i was prediabetic and insulin resistant. It's impossible to lose weight if you are insulin resistance ( i will write more on this). I have migraines daily. I was prescribes metformin on and off for some weird reason. I will write more on this in my coming posts (this one is wayyy too long already). Now, migraines magically gone. Insulin resistance, no more. I did my blood test every three months. .
Now, you must be wondering, how… how did i lose this much weight? One word, keto. I did ketogenic diet. I don't exercise much. All i did basically is low intensity routine and strength training. Most importantly, I've changed my diet. I ditched carbs (or i tried too). And I'm glad i did. I don't have an active lifestyle. So when people say weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise, I'm completely agree with that. *I will write more on this in the coming posts too* .
