This afternoon's breakfast was a #burntmeatpile with some spinach eggs. I also added a #pestoplop on the side but decided I didn't want to eat it so it remained untouched. Sorry pesto, you are totes still my favorite.
I'm still loving my @nespressousa coffee maker although I'll admit some of those bolder flavors that I normally love are strong as hell without sweetner. I also haven't been drinking coffee as much lately so this meal provided me with a one-way ticket to shittown IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT WAS CONSUMED.
I might as well have eaten it on the toilet that how rapidly those bowels were knocking on heaven's door. AND THIS IS WHY I DON'T HAVE MORE FOLLOWERS.
Mike is working today so I probably poke around the city and buy some stuff I don't need a little later. Happy Sunday everyone! . . .
One of the really great things about living in Brooklyn is the multitude of choice for fresh delicious food that we don't have to cook! BONUS CUZ WE LAZY.
This seafood salad had shrimp and squid and peepers and onions and a shit-ton of cilantro and was just about perfect for a quick and easy lunch yesterday.
I've been on an apartment redecorating kick which involved dragging Mike to Home Depot and buying 6 shades of grey to test them on our bedroom walls. The walls look legit crazy, but I'm close to finding the right shade.
In other news, I've made it two weeks completely sweetener free and am less than 30 days away from day 100 of my #100daysofketo challenge. Aside from a few carbs for celebrations with friends we've been killing it! I'm committed to keeping it up when it's over. Mama is hoping to land somewhere in the 150's and stay there...excited to be in the "maintenance" phase of this journey.... . . .
Happy St Patrick’s Day everybody ! I hope everyone’s day was as amazing as ours was! We made chicken wings (of course) & Keto Reuben Dip in the crock pot.
1. 1/2 lb of corned beef
2. 1 lb of Swiss cheese
3. 8 oz of cream cheese
4. 16 oz sauer kraut
5. 1/2 cup Kraft thousand island dressing
Then we made chips from Mission low carb totillas brushed with olive oil and sea salt & baked at 350 for 10 minutes. If you Love Reubens like we do you have to try this recipe!❤️
🥗🐥 ok you guys. I’m calling it. This is my favourite meal.
It’s 40 degrees in Sydney today so we are beating the heat by hitting up the shops and a bowling alley!
This is my go to food court favourite - Brazilian flame grilled chicken and Caesar salad 🤤❤️ I don’t know what’s in the chilli sauce so I go easy on it, and I had to pick croutons out of the salad - but so worth it because this meal is AMAZING !
Basic Broiled Salmon 😋
Lemon Juice & Zest
Himalayan Sea Salt & Fresh Herbs 🌿
We broil on low for about 20-25 min for a good medium well with a little crisp on the outside 👌🏽

☕️ Still on the search for a nut milk that I actually like to make coffee with. Picked up this one from Woolies to try.
Had a sip of it fresh from the bottle and it tasted pretty ok! However, when I made my coffee with it, it tasted very strange. It made the coffee not even taste like coffee - was so weird!
As this milk was on the expensive side and I don’t want to waste it, I might try and make a smoothie with this later. I guess I just need to face facts - I don’t like nut milks 🤷🏻♀️
Today is Saint Patrick’s Day and the day we celebrate 6 years of marriage!! Most people don’t know this but we have been together for 14 years😲. •
We met in a tiny town in Maine!! Two kids raised on the West Coast who happen to find each other. Life has a way of making peoples paths cross and we are forever changed for it. •
We have have been living one amazing adventure. We have driven cross country, lived in 3 states and helped each other grow and become the people we are today. •
He puts up with my craziness and He has helped me over every hurdle Epilepsy put in front of me as an adult. I know in my heart I wouldn’t be where I am today without his love and support!! •
Happy Anniversary @ourpurgatory
🌼 Good morning! I’m just reaching out hoping to get some feedback re: flax seed crackers.
Basically I want to make some, however I’ve been searching the internet high and low for the process and I’m getting conflicted info.
Some recipes call for the seeds to be soaked for up to 18 hours and others not.
Has anyone got a tried and tested method of making these that they could possibly share? I basically just want them as crunchy as possible 🤤
Thank you in advance! Have a lovely Sunday everyone xx
Green food for St. Patrick's Day! ☘️ Simple yet well thought out meals are my favorite.
A homeraised beef patty, a beautiful avacado with real salt and freshly ground peppercorn, fresh organic greens in a homemade red wine vinegarett oil, organic mushrooms and onions sauteed in beef grease and a blob of freshly mixed horseradish cream sauce. #ketoperfection#localfoods#green#organicfoods#stpattysdayfood#horseradishcream
