One of my favorite parts of getting on Instagram for keto is seeing all the amazing food other ketoers are eating all around the world. Plus, this map is bacon’s map of the world! Perfect for keto. I’ll start: I live in the Los Angeles area, but I was born and raised in Kansas and spent most of my adult life in Denver (USA). I’m doing keto to help stabilize my moods, which it has done better than anything else I’ve ever tried. Yes, I’ve lost weight, but to me the most important part is the energy I now have to exercise a ton and be a more present mom, friend, and partner.

So, it was actually harder than I thought it was going to be! I love wings and was super happy eating them everyday, but I was missing other foods from my diet. I was also a bit light headed during my workouts which is very abnormal. I DID lose four pounds and my body felt great!-
I feel that when I personally restrict like this though, it causes my mental cravings to go crazy. The feeling of restriction makes me want to cheat, BUT I HELD STRONG! I’m super happy I did it but will probably stick to a zero carb challenge not just Wings next time 💗 -

I'm having a big breakfast this morning to prepare for a wine tour I'm going on with friends today. Protein coffee with scrambled eggs with some turkey and cheese. 🍳 🧀 ☕️The choices on the tour may not all be low carb but I'm going to do the best I can and enjoy myself! 🍷🥂🍾💕🎉
Detox day 6. It’s a smoothie morning on the @alimillerrd detox so loaded up this smoothie w/ lots of goodness: coconut cream, almond butter & MCT oil for a good fat base, 1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries, 1 Tbsp each of ground flax and hemp seeds and protein from her unsweetened grass-fed whey. Did a ton of greens yesterday so enjoyed the simple flavors and natural sweetness of the berries.
I hadn’t eaten any dairy in years but hadn’t tested if lactose was my issue or if it was the milk protein. Turns out, lactose is my issue and I’m tolerating the whey really well! This could also be due to all of the healing my gut has done in the last year. Whey is so tasty! I’m excited! .
