Saturday evenings, eating at home, movie with the family....I love nights like this. Especially when my dinner is 100% vegetables and my husband finds it delicious and fulfilling. This was randomly made up with the Buffalo Cauliflower I made a few weeks back. I had to make it again. It’s in top of a sauté mix of:
S/P and a splash of Buffalo Sauce. ***this dish takes no time at all because I already had my zucchini spiralized and my cabbage chopped (meal prep). It’s delicious without making you feel over the top, stuffed....and a bit HOT.
Go for it!! Try it and tell me how you feel!! Load your plate with VEGGIES!!!!

Well it has actually been a pretty good week for me. I worked 3 shifts in a row so I didn’t get many workouts in but I did eat much much better and I also happened to shed FOUR pounds this week! I finally feel back at it. 💪🏼
Soooo... I’ve unfortunately been one of those people who, in school never started in time for an assignment or an exam and then had to pull all-nighters right before deadline. This week is my BBG version of this: off to a great start on Monday, then nothing till today coz my baby has been really cranky for days and I usually fell asleep while waiting for him to do the same (I used to workout after his bed time) so today I did double strength plus a cardio session to catch up because I have already lost 3 weeks in the program due to flu etc. Leg workout was modified: no jumps but an added 10 Kg of cranky baby, same as LISS. Arms and Abs were ‘normal though. #bbg#bbgmoms#bbggirls#fitmom#kaylasarmy#kaylaitsines#sweatwithkayla#12weekchallenge#healthyfood#healthylifestyle#weightloss#weightlossjourney
I was never the girl afraid of making her own path. When I was in elementary school, my neighborhood best friend and I would go exploring in the creek behind my house. We’d have to move tree branches and climb over rocks to get to the creek. There was no path to get down to the water, but over the many years of living in our houses, my best friend and I made a path. Last year, I made a decision to take a year off of school to go train for fencing at the most elite academy in Paris. I was worried at first because this wasn’t the “normal” path of other college kids, but I decided the opportunity was one I couldn’t pass up because I’d always ask “what if?” Although I ended up getting injured and now I’m the oldest in my classes, I would do it all again in a heartbeat. There are many paths to the one and I’m so happy with mine. No one is going to roll out the red carpet for you and give you a path to walk on. How do you make your path?
After gym selfie 💦 getting ready to head out tonight to an event! How do you manage going about your day after a good workout? Sometimes I get pretty exhausted afterwards 😨 does anyone have any tips and tricks they’d like to share?
