Was going through old pictures when I came across my old 75 Chevy. Man I miss this truck. Learned lots about working on things with this truck.
Went through one motor. A tranny. I did a running gear swap went from 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton axles. Made a custom tool box. And tailgate. Changed oil, gaskets, and other odd end stuff.
Almost caught on fire on morning had a short in a wire that got red hot. Luckily I caught it in time killed power and pulled the wires. Never had working aux. lights after that.
Hauled my bikes, hay, and other random crap I had to move. It only had one speed on the windshield wipers and the transfer case chain slipped really bad when you jumped on the throttle hard in 4wd.
She was a dam good truck. Wish I still had her. One day I will own a square body again.
Since my pride and joy is still waiting on parts here’s a throw back to what started it all! Father/son project when I was 15. #1978#chevy#k10#327ci#th350#np205#boggers wish I still had this truck to throw some 26’s on it.
