The Workout: 4 circuits: Each circuit = 8 sets of 30 secs of WORK/ 10-15 secs REST. Rest 90 secs between circuits. For the first 3 circuits you’ll perform a single jump rope move per circuit. The 4th circuit is #FLOWTIME. We combine all 3 jump rope moves into a jump rope flow. There’s NO TIME like GO TIME!!! LETS. GET IT. DONE!

My new jump rope has arrived yesterday. It's an agility rope and an intensity one by @crossropejumpropes . I had trained today and I have to get used to yet, nevertheless there are some things that I was not comfortable for, I hope that it's because of my first time with this.

Expectativa vs Realidad
Si lo ponemos en perspectiva, la vida es como saltar la cuerda. Unas veces estΓ‘s arriba y otras abajo. La expectativa es que seas hΓ‘bil y el mejor en lo que haces, sin embargo la realidad te demuestra que necesitas esos golpes para mejorar.  Salto la cuerda, por que me hace recordar que la vida es esa, y que a pesar de todo hay que sonreir y ser feliz. Y no soy experto, pero me siento feliz por personas que me escriban y sientan motivaciΓ³n a realizar este deporte con solo ver mis videos. Y una ultimita...espero que la prox semana se concrete algo y nos vamos a saltar por otras ciudades!

You all know that I hate traditional cardio, right? I really do. I can think of nothing worse than spending time on a treadmill, or stairmill, or elliptical. I just…...can’t. But cardio has tons of benefits that I don’t want to miss out on, so I have do something, right? Enter my new favorite quick, efficient cardio exercise - jumping rope. Until a couple of months ago, I’m pretty sure elementary school was the last time I had even held a jump rope. But it turns out, I love it!

My current routine is 10 minutes of jump rope intervals after my regular strength workout. I jump for 20 seconds, rest for 40 seconds, and repeat. My goal is to work up to a 30:30 work:rest ratio, but - trust me - jumping rope is definitely something you need to ease into!

The first time I decided to jump, I went straight to a 30:30 interval and I pulled a muscle in my calf. Oops! Once it had recovered, I tried again, but this time I started off very slowly. If you are interested in starting to jump rope, here’s a system for easing into it that worked very well for me. You’ll jump every minute on the minute (EMOM) for 12 minutes. You all know that I hate traditional cardio, right? I really do. I can think of nothing worse than spending time on a treadmill, or stairmill, or elliptical. I just…...can’t. But cardio has tons of benefits that I don’t want to miss out on, so I have do something, right? Enter my new favorite quick, efficient cardio exercise - jumping rope. Until a couple of months ago, I’m pretty sure elementary school was the last time I had even held a jump rope. But it turns out, I love it! πŸ”₯ My current routine is 10 minutes of jump rope intervals after my regular strength workout. I jump for 20 seconds, rest for 40 seconds, and repeat. My goal is to work up to a 30:30 work:rest ratio, but - trust me - jumping rope is definitely something you need to ease into! πŸ”₯ The first time I decided to jump, I went straight to a 30:30 interval and I pulled a muscle in my calf. Oops! Once it had recovered, I tried again, but this time I started off very slowly. If you are interested in starting to jump rope, here’s a system for easing into it that worked very well for me.
