The famous black sand beach at Vik in Iceland’s Southern Region. No matter the weather, you are always guaranteed to get some dramatic shots here. The sea stacks and cliffs in this area are home to flocks of Kittiwakes, which added a further dreamy effect to this image.
I’m starting to enjoy capturing motion in waves and the sunlight hitting the spray. New niche to pursue and perfect before I head to the South West coast of England to capture seascapes! ⠀⠀
When I went to this you could drive and park next to it. Apparently you have to walk a mile or so to get to it now. Don't worry everyone survived; they just left it there as it wasn't worth moving. Took a long exposure on a cloudy day.
Happy #earthhour everyone! This is an image to show the beauty of renewable energy 🌱 Wind turbines such as these elegant structures can be seen all around the UK. In fact the UK has more offshore wind turbines than any other country in the world! The recent surge in solar panel instillation has also seen Cornwall become the leading county producer of solar electricity and a large reason for why the UK went without the need of coal for 24 hours last April, the first time since the industrial revolution. Just 28% of our electricity in the UK comes from renewable sources. I don’t know about you guys but I’d love to see that percentage get much higher in the near future 👍🏻
