Kort tid etter ankom Stian Wåsjø Simonsen aka @stianwaasjo, journalist i NRK. Litt etterpå ankom også Ove Mellingen -  @ovemellingen - redaktør i Telemarksavisa. Årsaken til dette tidlige, men samtidig hyggelige, møtet var at Stian foreslo et morgenbad. Dette var/er nemlig god radio. Som man kan se av bildene var to av tre relativt fornøyde med vannet, mens sistemann uttrykte et visst ubehag. Velbehag ble det imidlertid da redaktøren, journalisten og typografen fra Bergen, inviterte til varm dusj, kaffe og juice. What a day! 💪🏼

I started the day strong! PRing my meet squat by 49.5lbs for a max of 336.2lb (130kg in sept 2017 to 152.5kg today). I also went 7 for 9 lifts, missing my last bench and deadlift 😩. .
.
I was just short of my goal total of 820lbs coming in at 809lbs with a wilks of 310. Not terrible considering I’ve been competing in this sport for like 5 minutes and had never picked up a weight before I started 3 years ago! .
.
I also learned I have a lot of work to do. Especially on my deadlift. Although I had a small PR on my deadlift I was still disappointed, but hey 🤷‍♀️ #goals!

Mostly I was in awe of some really #strong  #badass women who have #zerofuckstogive when it comes to fitting someone’s preconceived notion of what a female athlete should look like! #deadliftface. These women are RAW and REAL! There is NOTHING fake here! .

Today I was once again reminded that powerlifting is a sport that not only requires the mental stamina needed to sustain the stress and emotions of competition, but the patience and determination required to train and perform to your max. Powerlifting is really a Darwinian sport, an #endurancesport where success is brought about by years of hard won battles. .

One of the best parts of today.....the friendships and camaraderie between the lifters. Sure, there is competition but there’s a lot of cheering for and support of each other too!🎉🎉

Ну и следовательно, поймала звезду и решила, что на этих соревах все 125 а то и 130 вытяну....
Благополучно, взяв отпуск в Гоа...с полным настоем на тусэ....я отправилась за 3 месяца до старта отдыхать...
Первый день, второй, третий....не тренируюсь.. ..каждое утро меня начинает мучать совесть...что я растренеровываюсь....проходит 12 дней....я сеьедаю себя изнутри...и считаю что все забыла...
Приезжаю...
И не могу оторвать от пола не то что 110...
100...мне не поднять 100....при условии что еще 2 недели назад 100*5 в легкую..рабочий вес...
97*3 тяну...115*3 с плинтов тяну...
А 100 ну ни как...
Тренер говорит...все в голове....коллеги говорят что настроила себя...поэтоиу и не могу...

 Есть сильный тип нервной системы и слабый, но это не плюс или минус, а лишь тип реакции. Люди со слабым типом нервной системы, например, обладают повышенной чувствительностью, они успешнее считывают информацию, вернее и быстрее реагируют на опасность.
Люди с сильным типом нервной системы выносливее, их работоспособность меньше зависит от факторов окружающей среды.
Психоэмоциональные возможности человека, помещенного в стрессовую ситуацию - удивительно велики. Их можно развивать, это доказывают, опыты и учения проведенные бойцами спецназа. И, что интересно, нейродинамические характеристики – скорость реакции, подвижность – не меняются, а исчезают, со временем, только «социальные одежки»: стереотипы и страх. Когда сознание человека свободно, оказывается, он способен подавить боль, не испытывать жажду, видеть в полной темноте…

А трезвый человек падает, и его сердце разрывается еще в воздухе – от страха.

93kg/204lbs at 55kg bw. This will forever be my most favourite moment in powerlifting. This was exactly the moment I was training so hard for over the past 3 years. I always dreamed of breaking a national record and can finally say that my name is beside one. I felt all the emotions today. This was by far the hardest prep of my life. Grinding through an injury is not fun and I am looking forward to rehabbing my SI and come back stronger than ever and represent Canada at worlds this year.

I just want to say thank you with all my heart to @everydayavi This moment wouldn’t have been possible without you. You are the most amazing human I have ever met. The average person does not realize exactly how much work goes into hosting an event to this size and I am at a loss for words. I feel like the luckiest girl to have you as a boyfriend and coach.

I can finally say I am the strongest in Canada for my age and weight 🇨🇦 (third times a charm)
93kg/204lbs at 55kg bw. This will forever be my most favourite moment in powerlifting. This was exactly the moment I was training so hard for over the past 3 years. I always dreamed of breaking a national record and can finally say that my name is beside one. I felt all the emotions today. This was by far the hardest prep of my life. Grinding through an injury is not fun and I am looking forward to rehabbing my SI and come back stronger than ever and represent Canada at worlds this year. . I just want to say thank you with all my heart to @everydayavi This moment wouldn’t have been possible without you. You are the most amazing human I have ever met. The average person does not realize exactly how much work goes into hosting an event to this size and I am at a loss for words. I feel like the luckiest girl to have you as a boyfriend and coach. . I also want to thank my best friend @abbyerintoyhall without you I would’ve lost my mind. You kept me so calm and collected when I felt like everything was going wrong. 240kg x3 #deadlift  bar was twisting on me a little and getting out infront on the right hand side. I've been switching my grip around set by set to see if it makes any difference for me, I seem to be slightly more consistent with my hands the other way though. Had to fight the grim reeper on the last rep to lockout, managed to keep him at bay this time!

Please send positive vibes/ prayers/ my family’s way right now. My dad was admitted to Cleveland clinic due to his IPF. We’re hoping the call for new lungs comes at any time right now because without these lungs, he doesn’t have very much longer. So please, whatever your way of communicating with the universe is, he can use all of the healing thoughts at this time. Over the past six years, I’ve watched my dad go from being one of the most independent men I’ve known into someone who needs oxygen 24/7 and around the clock care. He used to run miles everyday and now, he can barely talk even using his oxygen. He’s taught me more about what bravery is throughout this than I ever wanted to have to learn. Despite his prognosis, I’ve never seen him lose hope. He wakes up everyday determined to survive against the odds. The truth is, I’m not ready to lose my dad, though I’m sure no one ever truly is. He still has so much fight, so much life and so much love inside of him and I have to believe that he hasn’t survived this long just to lose right now.

Консультировал меня @olgerd_von_everec_ , всё хорошо объяснил, подсказал, помог определиться с размером. Подошли идеально 😊 И да, я очень хотела красненькие, но заказала чёрные. Но пришли красные, которые в цене выше. И ребята отдали мне их по цене чёрных 🤗🤗🤗 Теперь посмотрим на них в работе 🏋💪
