A 4x6 eccentric good morning-->concentric squat.
Form was not as consistent as expected it will get better with time since this is a new movement.
Now only days away from launching @desert.barbell for real I look back on the development of Powerlifting back in Sweden. I'm very proud to being part of that since the early 2000's.
A bunch of highlights; starting with the first National Championship EVER to be hosted in what is now referred to as Classic Powerlifting 2010. This was arranged by @luleaak and @umeapower Before that the conventional Powerlifting been a part of the Swedish sports community since the late 60's. Imagine that when people here ask if you think Powerlifting actually is a sport 😁
Second one is obviously the first Classic World Wide Championship (IPF World Cup) , also held in Sweden 2012. This was one of the major sparkes to what we see today with loads of Classic lifters all over the world.
And 2011, the highlight of highlights, when the sport was crowned "sport of the year" in the northern region. And, this is in a region with loads of great sports teams and individual athletes. This tnx to foundation layed by former legends like Kåre Lundgren in the 80's ranging up to the rising stars of @stinaakemalm
Lastly 2016 my brother in Iron Jocke Lakso got the award for renowned sports profile of the year. That's pretty big.
Powerlifting is not an ounderground sport for outcasts. It's for everyone and we often tag #folksporten which means #sportforeveryone

Outside of my shoulder/pec tendon giving me problems I’m pumped for the meet. Gonna lay off the bench and hopefully test an opener at least before. 545 for and easy 3x3. Felt great but for a powerbar this thing flops. New sleeves should be here soon as well. 2.5 weeks.

Vanilla Gorilla - Blaine Sumner) as I was about to hop into the Uber driver's car as he was coming out, which not only surprised me, but woke me up as I recognized him. My knees felt weak and heavy when I stood next to him for this photo 😂. Right: my second meeting this guy at a #CPU national event, Bryce Krawczyk, ( @calgarybarbell ) super chill, humble and insanely strong guy - 9th placed in world's and hold the world deadlift record in the 105 kg equipped class. 365 for 3x4 on ze deadrift todayyyyy. Felt smooth but technique could’ve been much better. Trying to keep shoulders rotated back and straight up as possible. Always room for improvement!
