Stress is a normal reaction to exciting events like falling in love, getting a new job, or buying a home. Stress is also a hardwired survival technique built into your body as a means of protection. When triggers arise, the sympathetic nervous system signals the “fight or flight response,” which mobilizes you to take action and avoid danger. The issue is that your body doesn’t know the difference between a bear chasing you and work-related anxiety. 🐻 Your body’s stress response is perfectly #healthy when there’s a real emergency (like a bear chase), but if your body is constantly getting stress signals for everyday issues (work-related anxiety), you’ll burn out over time.

-Burn #candles and #scents .🕯️ Studies shows that aromatherapy is a great way to relieve stress .Try lavender e.g. that is one of the best for relaxing and calming you. I love #candlegazing !
-Have a good #laugh .
Laughing releases endorphin and releases stress from the body. Watch a funny movie, or a video and laugh it off.
-Get a #massage .
Studies shows that massages are good for releasing stress as well as tension, stiffness from the body,+ they #relax the #mind
-Listen to #music dance
Dancing when you are home alone is the best, you can even sing if you like, it will definitely release some tension😉💃

the end of February marks my 9 month milestone of wearing a natural face. something that started as a summer experiment for better skin and unearthing more self confidence; #nomakeupsummer became my everyday look.
now, don’t get me wrong, i thought about how much i love lipstick and mascara, especially in the beginning. i wanted to cover up pimples or matte my face, but i would always just dismiss the idea. probably because i’m stubborn, but then decided to just treat my skin well instead of hiding it.
a breakout won’t last as long if you just tackle the problem at hand.
(metaphor for life? i think so!)
at the same time, i started to see what was naturally beautiful about me & i just don’t really get bothered by the imperfections anymore.
while some blemishes are permanent, most are extremely temporary. stress, diet, hormones, etc all go into the climate of your skin. take control of your life and how it makes an impact on your mental and physical health.
oh, and you’ll have nice skin too 😌
