Fun fact: I’ve NEVER been a morning person! Like, it’s been a running joke not to wake me up/talk to me before coffee🙈 I’m not sure if it’s a mindset change, the effects of exercise, or my magic morning go-go juice, but I now 💕LOVE💕 my morning routine! 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve been waking up at 0400 to get in my quick 30 minute workout before my 12 hour shifts since the beginning of January, and I’m honestly a little shocked at how much more energy/positivity I have throughout the day. Do you workout in the morning? Why/why not?
It’s been a while since I participated in a transformation Tuesday so here we go. This didn’t happen overnight. It took lots of hard work, consistency, setbacks and victories, sweat laughter and tears. It took an amazing support system but most of all it takes a love for the lifestyle. Bottom line is that if I didn’t love what I was doing then you wouldn’t see the results that you see here. You have to love the journey as much as the results and you have to have a ton of patience. It took me 3 years to get here, for some it may take less and for others longer but don’t compare yourself to others or you’re setting yourself up for failure. Why? Because do often you’re comparing your chapter 1 or page 1 to someone chapter 10 or page 100 etc. if you put in the work, don’t let yourself get discouraged and just stay patient and consistent then you WILL get where you are going. I promise. Enjoy the journey, you only get one after all 😉.

What keeps you motivated: The chance to finally meet my in-laws (Eastern Europe) and take care of them and my fam. When I feel down, I can hear my coach Sherri (she passed years ago), saying, "Suck It Up, Buttercup".....and I do :-) Biggest Insecurity that you are overcoming: I have a lot of anxiety. A lot. It is very difficult for me to be in crowded places, especially the "Men's Den", as I call it in the gym. I was and have always been bullied and I struggle with dealing with my anxiety because of those situations. I don't like make eye contact in the gym, but I am slowly getting there.
What is holding you back from reaching your goal?
Fear. Fear of failing and disappointing everyone that I hold dear to me. My Anxiety hits the ceiling, and I wonder if I can make my dreams come true. I think, sometimes, that I'm not enough. Good enough. Strong enough. Smart enough. Maybe, I'm an idiot for being foolish enough to think I can reach my goal, because I am not enough.

BULKING🐷 VS CUTTING✂️.
This is my fat loss progress so far since finishing up my bulk end of 2017 to starting my cut in Jan 2018 and getting serious (Which means tracking even the nibbles here and there because apartly they add up to quite a bit of calories🙃🤣).
➡️End of Bulk: 10st 5.5lbs, eating 2600calories, No cardio and training x5days a week.
➡️Cut so far: 9st 9.9lbs, Eating 1800calories, 2x 30min cardio and x5 training days.
What do you need for fat loss then?🤔 Is it a slim shake or a detox tea or MAYBE even a fat burner supplement that a fitspo is selling to ya on instagam🙊?.
❌NOPE.. Reduce your calories so your in a deficit across the week & move a little more🕺🏼.

What’s up everyone! It’s Tuesday, and we are just two days out from the photo shoot. Today is when shit gets REAL. After about a week of making sure I drank at LEAST two gallons of water a day, I’m now cutting it to only a half a gallon.

In order to maximize the fluids in my body, I also decided to give up coffee today and tomorrow. 😱 And if you know me, you know that I believe coffee to be the most important of all the food groups. 😂 I couldn’t TELL you the last time I went a day without coffee. But alas...it’s all in the name of looking shredded, so it’s worth it!
☕️ ☕️ ☕️ The upside is that I’m adding carbs back in today and tomorrow in order to fill out my muscles, while at the same time dehydrating myself. So lots of potatoes 🥔 incoming!

After that post yesterday, I'm glad to say that the wheel of random pain intensity was spun again over night, and I woke up to a low pain day 🍀🎉
I can't tell you how affected my mood is by the pain's intensity - I get so happy on the good days I need to remind myself to take it easier and remember my limits so I don't turn tomorrow into a bad pain day 🙈
For now, I'll just enjoy today and the lovely weather (can we finally agree that winter is over???) ☀️☀️☀️
