Just when you think you’re getting all the moves down, you start month 2 of Insanity. When Shaun T says he ain’t playing, he means it. Needless to say, I survived week 6 or should I say, Week 1 of month 2. I burned a heckuva lot of calories and made a ton of fat cells cry. Three more weeks then onto 10k training. My legs are definitely getting stronger, and I’m ready. #insanity#insanityworkout#shauntkickedmyass#plantbaseddiet#plantpower#plantpoweredathlete
@shaunt you are absolutely amazing.
I've always found it so difficult to motivate myself when it comes to working out, especially when it comes to cardio. I adore going for runs but when it's cold and dark, I can't muster up the energy to go out and do it and end up beating my self up inside for staying in. This is especially the case of I've had a very long sedentary day, where the mere thought of slinging on a pair of trainers makes me shudder and reach for the cookies..🙈 Insanity Max 30 has genuinely changed the way I look at cardio - it makes you feel so incredible and accomplished even if you max out after 2 minutes (yep that was me). One week in and I can see the insane results (body AND mind) and I feel amazing - I genuinely can't recommend it enough.
I know that every evening I will be putting myself through 30 minutes of hell, but damn is it worth it.
If you are in the same boat, or are just in need of a complete revamp of your workout routine, give insanity a go, you won't be disappointed ❤
One of the reasons why I love my work: being a PT is not just about training clients to be fitter, but making improvements in their quality of life one session at a time.
When I first met Dom he had a kyphotic posture (exaggerated round back) and posterior pelvic tilt (lower back arches inwards) -- which are very apparent in the top photo when he did a plank.
In our sessions we focused correcting these postures with specific stretches and strength training exercises. In less than 2 months, this is how his plank looks like now: less rounded back and pelvis is rotated less inwards.
I'm so proud of you Dom! Keep going!
As I'm closing in on my 2nd week of Insanity workouts. I feel devasted and want to give up. Stepped on the scale and was devasted at the result. I know it's ridiculous to think that I would drop at least 5 lbs these two weeks I expected a drop at least a pound. Working out is hard and I feel like giving up but I know I have to keep pushing to see results .
BLESS REFEED DAY BECAUSE OT HELPED ME KILL THIS WORKOUT! I went from 15 to 25’s in yesterday’s leg workout in some of these exercises because of all the energy that I had from my refeed day on Wednesday. 😛
My next batch of kick ass ladies are going through prep week and are about to be added to the current group so it’s about to be on. This workout was from yesterday and it was day 36 - WHOA - we are almost halfway there. 🙉🙉🙉
Also Ned basically just straight ATTACKED me at the end of my workout 😂😂 anyone else’s dogs just jump on them for no reason sometimes? Like dude explain yourself. .
Anywayyyy, life won’t stop with the craziness but I’m LOVING IT. Being “busy“ doesn’t bother me. It helps mean flow through my days and just get shit done. I’m creating a lot of new content for my team and it’s got my mornings like 🙃😝🤪🤯
If you don’t see my post on my page and I promise I’m all over my Instagram story, still working out and eating clean, loving this 80 day program 😍
