Celebrating an aesthetically pleasing #fruit that is in season this summer... pairing it with gorgeous #ingredients = fab #nibble to spread around. I created this combo when planning a #family pre Christmas #Lunch 🎅🏼 Browsing + scrolling + hours on Pinterest brought me to this mouth watering, bite of goodies!!
Smear a dollop of creamy, marinated Persian #feta or #goatscheese ... you could even try fresh, local #ricotta - yummy. Sharply slice shards of salty #prosciutto to lay along the bumpy surface of exquisite #cheese ... And now ready to be topped with a delicate slice of #fig !! Gorgeously laying along the skin of procuitto to even out the #crunchy , #smooth + #salty#flavours soon to be whirling around your taste buds. When slicing the fig so smoothly, a vision of pinky clusters brighten your mood!! A rainbow of pinks + purples + whites + greens in one fruit Serve them on any #crackers , preferably #seasalt ones or #rosemary sea salt (the plain ones)... mmm.
The contrasting elements highlight each other’s flavour + beauty which pleases the eye to gobble right up from a large #plate full of delicacy. As your tongue becomes a mound of #drool wanting to bite and crunch on this little combo, relax + #enjoy !! 🙉
First time experiencing @nikoromito 's new project Spazio Pane e Caffè.
I'll report the example of the #focaccia in order to best describe the experience: baked mother yeast dough, topped with amazingly red tomato, lemon skin, basil, Parmesan and raw olive oil. The oil's vegetable fat acids exalt the sour-fat-smokey flavor of Parmesan, making texture even better enjoyable. The natural sugars of tomato, then, happen to get exalted giving that little sour in the dough as a result of lactic fermentation of sugars as they are processed by mother yeast's bacteria, feeling the texture crunchy and creamy at the same time.
It's impressive how in such a simple a refreshingly new dish I felt emotionally involved, perceiving a symphony of pure, fresh ingredients exalted at the best.
I want to believe that this place is a step forward in a future of deep individual knowledge and sensibility for ingredients, and I can't stress enough how it is on his way to represent a landmark for educational nutrition.

Egg whites, along with milk contain the highest quality biological protein known to man. All parts of the egg are edible, including the shell which (fun fact) also has a high calcium content!
One large, hard-boiled egg contains 7 grams of protein and has just 2 grams of saturated fat. To avoid the saturated fat altogether, you can separate the egg whites and toss out the yolk. If you prefer you could dress that egg up (and get in a serving of veggies) by making an omelet and folding in some spinach which is rich with iron and fiber!
Eggs do contain a fair amount of cholesterol which historically may have shed a bad light on our eggy friends... BUT over 25 years of studies have shown that it’s saturated fat that is the culprit, not dietary cholesterol, for raising people’s cholesterol the most.
