Learning to use a table. It was our first time trying this out. After awhile he tried to push the toys off the table & climb the table. In most cases I would let him explore new things but I really didn’t want him to form unhealthy habits. So as we played I simply moved his toy back to the table to signal that we keep toys on the table. I also did the same to his little leg that kept trying to climb. I gently pulled his leg back down each time he tried to climb. Each time he did the incorrect thing I corrected him and he surprisingly didn’t seem to mind so we kept using the table for various activities. If he had gotten really annoyed or frustrated then I probably wouldn’t have kept going but he seem to be fine with me showing him the limits. I shouldn’t have spent so much time at the table because I was exhausted near the end. But I was proud of him ...& myself, that I resisted the temptation to keep saying no to him & instead in my mind resolved to show him how to use the table correctly.
We need to remember that they just don’t know... they aren’t trying to drive us nuts. But it’s natural for children to test limits & explore new things with their bodies. But isn't it ironic, that them having each other is really one of the greatest blessing they posses?? >> so I sat down with them earlier, in a group huddle on the couch, and told them that i was struggling with today; we prayed for strength, grace & clarity, and were thankful that we are blessed with each other. (Sorry it’s messy) but the thing w getting where you wanna be, is that you need a clear goal. Break it down give ur self a time frame, make progress check points. This is what I’m realizing for myself now which I think is the most important thing! If you don’t have a clear big goal (long term) you’re never gonna know where ur going (even tho that goal is prob gonna change along the way have a clear goal now!!) then break up how long u want it to take (reasonably) and make little goals to check ur self (like every week or so) that way you don’t think you can cheat because you have so much time, cause in all honesty it goes by fast. Just remember time goes by either way, you’re either getting closer to your goals or staying behind dreaming ab what you could have!

Since I have finally obtained my bar muscle up, and can, for the most part, consistently get it, I still struggle with not pulling to the hips, and bending my knees too much, too early. This drill is a great way to train your body to stay tight, and pull directly to the hips. Just grab a foam roller, secure a bar low on a rig, and start with the roller right above the back of the knee. Engaging the lats, and staying in the hollow hold will increase that speed, and efficiency.

So many of my conversations lately have gone like this...
Girl comes to me looking for help with her fitness goals
I ask what’s she’s been doing...we chat, easily fixed...
Then I ask what she’s been EATING
And 99 times out of 100 this is the problem
👉Cutting food groups
👉Limiting carbs completely 👉Too much dining out 👉Not frequent enough
👉And more often than not...NOT EATING ENOUGH. PERIOD. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My friends....I know it sounds crazy to some...but if you want to ditch the DIETs and find a sustainable, manageable LIFESTYLE...that also allows you to achieve whatever your heart desires...
