Sometimes the only saving grace on a night out of drinks and food is the amazing cocktails you have. Yesterday Josh at Crave West End in St Louis Park, really came through! One of the very best cocktails I've had!! Thanks Josh! Thanks Crave!
Oh and bonus it has Tattersall Orange crema.
The Czechs start them young! 😁😁 Visiting friends and family in the Czech Republic this weekend, where we were treated to a few rounds at one of Prague's fastest growing breweries. The Czechs drink more beer per capita than any other nation in the world, and I think you could argue that it's because their beer is simply better than everyone else's. The brewers at Hostivar Brewery have certainly figured it out. Have a great weekend everyone! 🍻🍻
So this was the second dealers choice cocktail that Josh made for me on a snowy Thursday night at Crave West End! And damn was it a fine cocktail! Name - Grounds for Divorce! Perfect lighting, MOOD AF!
We're loving this week's super easy & super tasty Friday cocktail - Shades of Red!
20ml Elephant Sloe Gin
50ml Fresh grapefruit juice
Shake, strain into glass filled to the top with ice cubes. Top up with @Lemonaid Blood Orange. Garnish with a grapefruit twist. Et voilà - cheers to the weekend!
'Desserts from Alentejo' served by @g_san_tos at the Consulat Art&Drinks Bar in beautiful #Lisbon . Mixing alcohol and dessert is never ever a bad idea 😈

Hop Savant (7.0% ABV, 70ish IBUs) American Brettanomyces India Pale Ale by Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project in Denver, Colorado.
OK, so I took the brewery notes from the canned version of this ridiculously awesome American wild IPA. Still holds true. While I dig the bottle look I'm sure the can keeps things much fresher. A good move on their part. Looks like they also lowered the ABV in the canned variant. No matter. This is an IPA for the funkhead. Loaded with Brett character - musty barnyard, rubber cement, wet hay, all the goodies - and swimming with fresh hop aroma. They've restrained the bitterness just enough to let the wild yeast character do its thang. Hello, my name is Hop Savant. You funked my IPA, prepare to drink.
Brewery Notes - "Our brewers work tirelessly, deliberating over new ways to expand the flavors and aromas derived from hops while limiting the bitter components. Fermented with our Brettanomyces mixed yeast culture, Hop Savant showcases unique characteristics only obtained through fermentation with wild yeast. Do not expect a sour beer, this is a hoppy IPA style beer brewed with our Brettanomyces yeast strains. Unfiltered and naturally wild, we package each can with a small amount of yeast to maintain maximum freshness for wherever life's adventures take you."
Vintage 🇺🇸 lowballs from our collection. Know your 🥃 rocks glassware, people! #responsibly
Clockwise from the left:
Libbey blue paisley, a rare and very sharp design
Indiana Glass textured tumbler, a generous vessel and something of an homage 😉to Finland’s Iittala Ultima Thule design
Georges Briard red houndstooth, so graphic
Anchor Hocking pressed glass, elegance with heft
Culver Pisa pattern, such a Renaissance feel Galileo himself would be impressed
George Briard brutalist black and gold bullseye design
Imperial Glass Toril de Oro, a shiny lattice delight
Mid-century modern design at its best. Thanks to @tschlinke for nudging us to put up this post. Next time we'll head Europe-side 🇪🇺⚽️.
Hope everyone’s Friday night is on course for fun. Cheers all!
