On my way to Ikea yesterday, there was a fascinating neighbourhood called Southall. It didn’t feel like London and everything including the shops looked so foreign. I love a multicultural city and I’m grateful that the cities I used to and now live in are mostly that. Can’t wait to settle in London and discover the gems here one by one! 👏🏼💎🇬🇧 #southall#ikeawembley#ilovelondon
The distinctive and beautiful church of St Mary in Bryanston Place, Marylebone. It is known colloquially as St Mary’s Church London because it is the most central Anglican church named St Mary’s in Inner London. The cost of building it in 1824 was £19,955 which would just about buy you a packet of crisps in Marylebone now 😉. Architect Robert Smirke also designed Somerset House and the facade of the British Museum.
