Yamanouchi is somehow dreamy. Snowy, narrow streets, onsen, small restaurants and to top it off, surrounded by mountains. The best thing of all is when you book at an Ryokan , you get free passage in all soto-yu public baths at shibu onsen with just a bulky key!! How is that. I mean, the supposedly dead cockroach by the window was shocking and even more when it was gone. If you travel for a longer period, you set your standards to a minimum and are happy to have a big room though it looks like Toshio would crawl out of the closet. #yamanouchi#thegrudge#cockroach#snow#dreamy#japan#onsen#honshu#travel#solotravel#nikond60#sunsetting#cold#yukata

It's our instinct to try and sneak around signs and find the untracked tree runs. Locals generally follow the rules here, and with good reason. They weren't the ones stuck skating out paved roads and under tunnels to find the resort again 🤣 big shout out to my whiteout windstorm partner in crime @pav_alava who won't leave my side no matter what blizzards may come between us!
Soo yeah...maybe you already saw my Bunny? 😂 It is the second time i worked with sugar but in a room where constantly the air conditioner is blowing at you, you will suck more at it than you already are. Now I’m just searching for a fault 🙄. I should change my job orientation...🤔 Maybe coffee taster or train conductor. Getting serious now, amezaiku is a traditional Japanese candy which was more to fascinate people on festivals, but still knowing how to make it depending which weather it is. Not to forget, it takes around 4 hours to make! #amezaiku#tokyo#japan#honshu#bunny#sugar#sugarwork#travel#solotravel#nikond60 @shinri_tezuka if you ever search for apprentices, I’m down for it! (After I get my master in Austria)
