Well I’m on day 2 of working out & let’s just say I can hardly move. Lol I have not done any type of “workout” since finding out I was pregnant October of 2016! 
I have lost 12.6 lbs since Jan 2 and have kinda hit a wall so workouts have started! 💪🏼 Deep relief and panaway all over my stomach muscles and legs so I won’t be as sore tomorrow and valor to give me the courage and strength to get through my work out! 🙌🏼 PS. I have a confession to make.  I haven't been consistent with working out since August 2017.  My brother passed way on July 31rst and my world was changed forever.  I lived with my brother for almost 4 years.  He had a stroke a few years back which left him disabled and in a wheelchair.  I moved out 3 months prior to his death and I feel like if I was still living there he would still be with us today.

I know that's not true yet that's how I feel and still feel.  You know what else I feel.  If I don't get my health in order, my daughter could be writing a post like this about me.

So I started back to working out last week and I'm sore as heck but feeling good.

Better, faster, stronger, as a ex smoker I never thought I would be able to do something like this consistently. But ever day is another day of growth and strength. 
Find something you like... Get moving... Don't give up... Keep going! 
Never quit. If you stumble get back up. What happened yesterday or earlier no longer matters.

Taking a deload week was hard for me, but it definitely paid off. I increased weight back up to reach 8-10 reps, and my resting heart rate finally dropped back into the 60s. Shoulder night was a good one, I was able to push weight that I’ve been struggling with. I’m celebrating the little victories because those little victories add up quicker than you think they do.

The second picture is from exactly six months ago. I still can’t believe that’s where I was. Seeing the difference actually makes me feel better about my bulk. I’m excited to put on a little more muscle, and then work on getting the fat cut off.

Month 2 day 20 ✔arms at home 4x12 of every upper body exercise I can think of with free weights and body weight. Then threw some abs in cause I can 🔥

Today did not go as planned. 
At all. So yeah, I was grumpy about it. 
But that’s okay. Sometimes you need to rant. What’s important though is that you pull yourself out of that funk before it goes too far. 
When I got called in to work the afternoon at the gym today I was beyond irritated. 
But after I had my pity party I asked myself what could I do right than to make the day better and feel a little more in control?
The answer was to get my workout in because I knew I wouldn’t have time later. 
So I went through a quick full body session (included below) and finished feeling 10000X better ✨
When you find yourself in that overwhelmed, irritated state, just come up with one simple thing you could do to feel better. 
I swear it makes a world of difference 😘

I didn’t want to be off track and let’s be real, I didn’t want to workout on Sunday to make it up (I treasure my sundays for naps, church, time spent with my people and did I mention naps?!). 😂😂
I knew I had to make up my workout, so instead of procrastinating till the end of the week, which is what old Raine would have done and end up not following thru. 🤔 I decided I’ve never done a double before and I don’t know if I can do it, BUT I know that if I set my mind to it: I CAN and I WILL. .
