i personally strongly recommend people (whether they practice yoga or not) to treat yourself a meridian massage once in a while. because of the lifestyle that we have and the food that we eat, all those toxins stored in the body is causing or going to cause acheness or sickness one day. #treatyourbodyright#headstand#hongkong#20180319 .

Too often in our desire to get more done we treat ourselves like a golden goose
You can make more money and make more friends, but the time and mental energy you have is finite. Which is why if you truly want to live a happy life, you must understand the season of your life and what is most important to you right now
At the end, you are your longest commitment
After 2 months break, I came back to my mat and taught today. I felt empowered to see old faces and truly grateful. It’s been more than 1 year since I got my 200TT in Bali. Looking back, I have taught more than 80 classes and met more than 100 faces. I wouldn’t have done this without my mother, who has transcended 2 years ago. I still have self-doubts and worries about not getting enough students and not making an impact. But this 2 month break has given me a time to truly do nothing. I realised it’s totally fine not to be role model. And no one expects me to be one. I am setting a sky high moral bar against myself. It’s liberating to come to a reflection like this just now because I read #annieau blog and it reminded me the hard times I went through during my 200HRs TT. Getting up at 6am to practice in that beautiful shala and silence breakfast looking out rice fields and me sneaking out to have chicken nasi gorengs and endless replenishments of mosquito sprays. Sounds of natures, stars, Bon fires, and all these. Those are all so precious to my heart. May we all be happy, be at peace and harmony. #waterlilyyogaproject2017#hkyogainstructor#hkyogi#hkyogalover#hkyogalover#yogahkclass#yoga#ayurveda#thaivedicyoga#bali#hk#transformation#yogateachertraining#remeberanceday

Today is a self-reflection day. Are we ourselves when we look into the mirror? Try looking deeper to find a reflection of our soul, not just the appearance. Self-reflection is a great process to make us a better version of ourselves. Are we living every day to the fullest? It does not matter if things don’t work out as long as we stay happy and contented.
Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Salute or Raised Hands Pose)
A simple and yet sophisticated asana. If we understand the intelligence of this pose, we will be able to deepen our yoga practice. Feel energy flowing toward the Mother Earth by planting the feet into the ground firmly, engaging the ankles, Achilles’ tendon, lower legs, thighs and pelvic floor, both feet should bear equal weight of your body. Then, feel the energy flowing upward toward the crown of the head with raised arms. Surrender yourself to the limitless sky and feel the lightness in the shoulder. You might be surprised with the changes in your body if you stay in this pose for 30 slow breaths!
