Unveiling of the commission portrait 'The Old Town Hall Of North High Shoals'. They also appointed me the Artist In Residence for the town. Quite an honor. Scroll left for the unveiling process!
Today was bittersweet- moving day for my Grandma! She sold her condo in a somewhat magical historic old building in Winter Park. My aunts were there helping with the move and of course found old boxes of photos - lots of memories here. Used to have ivy growing across the bedroom windows. Also my Grandma has impeccable taste- her kitchen was done with marble countertops, painted cabinets and crystal knobs probably 10 years ago!
Riber Castle. Derbyshire. Oct 2017
Riber Castle, 19th-century Grade II Listed Country House, overlooking Matlock, Derbyshire.
It's now being converted into upwards of 46 luxury apartments served by helicopter from Manchester Airport. Underground car parking, an ultra-modern swimming pool on the site of Smedley’s bath house, together with raised flower beds, croquet lawns and an orangery built on the site of their original forebears that will overlook some of the finest views in the Peak District. It stands around 853 feet above sea level, high above the Derwent Valley, with its dramatic silhouette of 90 foot high towers and 1450 foot of battlements.
Designated as World Heritage Site: 22 June 1950
A World Heritage Site is a place that is listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as of special cultural or physical significance.
I took this photo from the Victoria Prospect Tower, Heights of Abraham, approximately one mile away, line of sight.

Because who DOESN’T need a brass dachshund planter? I just love how proud he is. Oh, and he’s Hudson’s favorite thing to show you in the shoppe. Be sure to ask him.
Take a stroll through Russell Square, and you'll spot our distinct thé-au-lait terracotta exterior peeping through the trees.
Go ahead, take a photo - we don't mind.
