We needed to leave early morning for a short trip and whats quicker than spicy tangy melt-in-mouth White Dhokla :D

Quickly got 1 cup of the MTR mix out, half cup yoghurt, 3-4 tbsp oil and just enough water to get semi-flowy consistency. Then, greased a glass tray, poured the mix and steamed in the microwave for about 6 minutes. Once out, garnished with spice powders and mustard seed tadka :D

You're going to laugh but it's 50 degrees in my part of town (LA) and I'm freezing!  I'm sitting in the car next to the soccer field waiting for practice to be over so I can go home and have some hot veggie soup.

I had an #epic night in the city last night with the girls 💃 
We saw #priscillaoz and it was #brilliant
I can’t believe how #ripped @davidharrisoz is not to mention how talented he is at what he does 💪🙌🏼
After the show we wondered over to the #crowncasino for some dinner and I chose #thaibeefsalad which I felt was a #healthyoption 
After dinner I played a few hands of #texasholdempoker and #blackjack and we danced the night away to an #accousticduo that were playing some #oldschooltunes they were #sogood 
I was drinking #captainmorgan and dry and usually I would grab something ridiculously unhealthy at the end of the night but I stayed strong and opted for a big bottle of #water instead💦
I definitely had #toomuchalcohol last night and am feeling it today so here’s my #hangovercure

What you need:
- 4 scoop of Arbonne meal replacement protein powder (scoop included in the package)
- 1 tea spoon baking powder - 1 table spoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of egg white - 1/4 cup I unsweetened almond milk

Mix all this up together and put in a greased muffin tray.

Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

Enjoy!

Desayuno de esta mañana! 🥧BIZCOCHITO FIT 🥧

Os dejo por aquí la receta📝
Espero que os guste y si os animáis y la hacéis mandarme fotitos 😍 .
🔺Ingredientes: .
-3 claras y 1 huevo
.
-20gr de harina de avena ( yo he utilizado sabor donut y chocolate blanco de @amazinfoodses )
.
-40gr de copos de avena integrales
.
-1 griego natural
.
-Canela .
-1 sobre de levadura en polvo
.
-Nueces
.
🔺Elaboración:
.
-Precalentamos el horno
.
-Batimos muy bien las claras y el huevo y añadimos los copos, la harina de avena, 1 cucharada de griego y la levadura en polvo y mezclamos bien.
.
-Vertemos la mezcla en un molde y al horno unos 15-20 min a 180grados.
.
-Cuando esté frío lo partimos por la mitad para rellenarlo con el resto de griego natural mezclado con canela y edulcorante al gusto

🔺Para la cobertura espolvoreamos con Canela y decoramos con nueces

En general no recomiendo comer carnes rojas todos los días porque son más difíciles de digerir, contienen químicos que favorecen padecimientos cardiovasculares y porque no son tan amigables con el ambiente. Peero...dentro de una dieta balanceada lo importante es saber la frecuencia y cantidad con la que se recomienda consumir los alimentos para tener beneficios en la salud. 
En el caso de las carnes rojas, yo las recomiendo 1 o 2 veces por semana máximo y que sean magras como en el caso del bistec o la cecina o lomo de cerdo o carne seca.
Así que si se te antoja, cómela con gusto tratando de que sean cantidades razonables.

Stick with 1 small serving of fruit, add healthy fat such as avocado or coconut oil, protein, and then load up on the greens/veggies (I've been adding cauliflower in my rotation + it's great!). This will prevent blood sugar crashes + keep you satisfied!

Second, rotate the veggies you are using! This one is super important!

If you are someone who is comfortable with adding spinach and limits your green smoothie to just that veggie, you may want to consider switching it up.

When you're eating the same type of greens day in and day out, your body is missing out on a variety of phytonutrients that it needs..

Additionally,  the leaves in all plants contain small amounts of toxins as a defense mechanism to protect the plant from predation. The prevent build-up in your system of the plant's toxic element, you want to rotate through the different plant families you eat the highest amounts of.

[Puedes sustituir por plátano, el contenido energético cambiará (el % de carbohidratos aumentará) al igual que el sabor de la mezcla, será más dulce; por lo tanto, si lo sustituyes yo te recomiendo reducir la cantidad de azúcar de 1/2tza a 1/4tza... pero si no eres tan clavad@ y buscas sabor sin tanta restricción, pues vas probando y midiendo a tu gusto el dulzor]

I never used to like vegetables. If i was to order a pizza I would always pick something which has the most meat on it.
Think the first time i had salad as a main meal was for lunch and quite possibly simply because my now husband (then new boy friend) was ordering it on a hot summer day. I was actually eye-ing the fish and chips (given we were in Darwin), but how would that made me look? 😂
Time has taught me to appreciate vegetables and now I love fresh vegetables. I love the texture, flavours, colours and its versatility.
The antioxidants found in plant ingredients is the main reason why hubby and I love experimenting with vegetables. Fight those free radicals with antioxidants !! 👊

Hi everyone I am still here and checking in on everyone accounts but I have has such a busy week and feeling really poorly that I have not been taking pics.

I have been on plan 50% over the last few days and am expecting a gain this week. I am gonna have to weigh at home as well as it is our little girls birthday tomorrow which I did not realise when I said I would weigh tomorrow 😣

This will be my last weigh in of February as well as won't be able to make Wednesday as I have appointments.

Workout done,  lunch in progress plus on a stowe vegetable broth 😚 and my son sleeps like an angel, so I thought I will post some sweet tooth recipe 😊. Who's up for some healthy blueberry muffins than?  Gluten,  dairy & refined sugar free 😃plus super easy & kids approved 👍. You will need: √1/3 cup coconut flour √1/2 cup coconut milk √2 tbs melted coconut oil √2 eggs √1/4 cup fresh blueberries √1 tsp vanilla extract √2 tbs honey √1/2 tsp baking soda. Combine everything.  Bake in 175°C for 25-30 min.
