chicken sandwich grilled in TJs everyday seasoning w a little melted cheese (that vegan cheese I told y’all about that is literally SO drool worthy), a little garlic spread (which I’m loving bc it’s only oil, garlic, lemon juice + a little salt), and of course the greens 🍃
aaaaaand paired perfectly with roasted sweet potato fries- super simple, just slice your sweet potatoes in fry form, drizzle with a little oil, sprinkle with lots of sea salt, bake them @ 425 for 15-20 min and once they start to get perfectly soft broil them for just a couple minutes to give them a little crunch 😋 sprinkled half of my pan with cinnamon and the other half with rosemary before baking

We all get lost following the news, and what people think, and believing everything we read! Remember we are individuals. We all have a differing values. We all want and need different things. None of us look exactly alike, and express ourselves in different ways. Therefore, we should do things the way we want, for our own satisfaction! .
I think we all fall victim daily of doing things for other people, when really we need to take a step back and think about the things that we need to do for ourselves... .
What are the things that you are currently doing for someone else, and not for your own fulfilment? Is that making you happy? For some people they get their happiness from seeing someone else happy and succeeding but we have to be selfish sometimes and make sure we are fulfilling our own needs and happiness and our own dreams! .
Do it for yourself, and no one else! 🌿
Um, hello almost 80 degrees in February. In February 2017 (or any other month that year, honestly) I would not have worn shorts no matter how warm it was and I definitely wouldn’t be wearing shorts that didn’t come close to my knee. Now: my stems are my favorite parts. I love them and I love how strong they are. It’s kind of nice learning to love me rather than pick me apart for my flaws and hiding myself.
About 9 years ago, I moved away from everything and everyone I had known. I had a 3 month old baby girl and three years later I had my boy. I did not have a support system in place and I remember crying all the time. I gained a shit load of weight and my marriage...ugh! My husband got to shower everyday and go to work while I stayed home nursing 🤱 a baby and a toddler to care for. Very well intentioned family and friends would tell me to enjoy these years...they go so fast!!!!!!!! Spoiler alert 🚨 Not comforting words 🤐 when your not feeling so, great.
You see, it was never really about my husband or my children. I have a beautiful family and beyond blessed and grateful for them every single day. This time in my life was about me. I mourned the woman I left behind and I could not figure out who this new woman and life were all about. I needed help outside of my circle I once leaned on. I wasn’t the same person having the same emotions. I needed support and accountability from other sources. Thank you universe for Coaching 🙏 Today, when I felt pressure to do... It’s pretty cool to see your body lose weight/tighten/etc from the work you’re putting in. It’s also cool to see yourself get stronger. But my absolute favorite change? That’s the one that happens in the mind. When there’s a mental shift to where you feel happier, freer, and UNSTOPPABLE. Because the things that are hurting us or holding us back really have little to nothing to do with our bodies or circumstances....it’s what goes on between our two ears. The stories we tell ourselves. But when THAT shifts? And we start dwelling on the positive, and ONLY letting love and light in? Holy ish. That’s LIVING. And we’re here on this earth for such a short time- don’t you think we should be enjoying it to the FULLEST? I sure do!🙋♀️💓🙌
Day 34/80✅....today felt so much better than last week, I smiled, laughed, got my a$$ kicked, and finished knowing I gave it my all.👊 Now to carry this mindset in to the rest of the day!✨🔥

Life can be incredibly busy; to-do lists grow and we rush from one thing to another on autopilot to fit everything in.
In this rush it’s easy to lose control of our thoughts, focusing on things that have happened or that we have to do, rather than noticing what’s happening in the here and now.
This can mean that not only do you become disconnected from what is going on around you, but you can become disconnected from yourself and not realise how your thoughts are impacting on how you’re feeling.
Unmanaged this can lead to some negative effects for your health, raising stress, anxiety and even contribute to you feeling low and not yourself.
Being mindful is simply being aware of what is happening right now and not wishing it were different.
By doing this consciously and non-judgmentally, it helps us view our thoughts, feelings and situation with more clarity. We’re not clouded by the past or worrying about the future.

💥THE SECRET TO BURNING FAT💥
🐶You know, there is a lot of chatter out there from companies who want you to believe that there are short cuts to losing fat. And who doesn’t want a short cut, right?
🦁The problem with that is there are no short cuts. None. Zero. All of the detoxes, the teas, the wraps, the “fat burners” won’t do a thing for you. They are just a waste of your money. And overly restricting calories isn’t sustainable for the long haul.
🐥So,instead of looking for the shortcut, look at what habits you can instill that will last you a life time. It is a long game after all:
🍇 Create a calorie deficit. Contrary to what you think, you don’t need to be in a big deficit to lose fat. Track what you are eating and drinking and be consistent
🐚Consuming protein at every meal can be a game changer. 20-40 grams is a great place to start. Having protein at every meal alongside veggies and fruit is a winning combo
🦆Strength train and add in some cardio you love. Hours and hours on the elliptical may burn some calories, but it also may burn your muscle as well. Shift your focus to strength training and add in some cardio that you love and you will burn calories AND build muscle
🦄Oh, and don’t forget to smile. Life is too short to not smile😀
