BLACK BEAN VEGGIE BURGERS 🍔🥑🍅(gluten free & plant based -not vegan because of the honey mustard) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️1 can of Black Beans ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️1 cup of Gluten free Oat flour (blended up oats into a flour consistency) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️1/2 cup of Grated carrots & Zucchini ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️1/4 cup shredded Red cabbage ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️1/2 red onion and 2 garlic cloves sautéed in olive oil ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️Pink salt, black pepper, cumin, turmeric, Moroccan seasoning, cayenne pepper - whatever spices you’d like! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️Put cooked onion and garlic into the dry mix and blend/mix altogether. Dust left over oat flour for crumby outside. Fry pan in oil and cook until desired crispy-ness ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

People ask me all the time why i choose to workout at home Vs. the normal “accepted” method of going to the gym and sweating it out 🧐
The answer is simple: because working out at home, streaming from an online wellness studio, helped me lose 60 lbs in 1 year, build lean muscle, become strong and gave me the ability to do aerial silks, but most importantly...it’s SUSTAINABLE
I don’t have to drive anywhere, fight traffic, plan my day around gym time because of traffic, or depend on a friend to go with me. My studio is open 24/7/365, rain or shine. I just throw on my workout clothes, drink my preworkout and push play
Other bonus: I literally don’t have to wear pants when i work out - obviously i do, because i film, but if i wanted to lift weights in my undies, i totally could😂😂
Honestly, i wouldn’t have lost 60 lbs in 1 year going to a gym🤷♀️. I tried to be a gym rat so hard, at multiple times in my life. And i gained 70 lbs over a 2 year period because i made excuses to myself about how i had no time to workout, couldn’t make it to the gym, so tired, blah blah blah. If Beachbody on Demand had been around in 2015, i probably wouldn’t have gained the weight i did

Gluteeee dayyyy 🙌🏻🍑 I honestly didn't even want to go today but I'm so glad I did. I don't believe in being motivated every day. I believe in dedication and discipline. If I skip out on the gym, my mentality changes and then I get lazy and start slacking. It's important to rest and take breaks but if you take too many you won't see any changes and then you'll be disappointed. That was me. I'd take breaks. I'd only make it to the gym about once or twice a week to feel strong because I'd go crazy completely without it. Then I start hitting the gym consistently and I get mad at myself because I'm not where I should be. I've made a lot of improvements since I've first started lifting, but its nowhere near where I should be. So at the moment I'm going to keep working to get there. I'm not going to quit. I didn't come this far to only come this far. And the bright side of coming to the gym today, I got a pretty sick glute pump 😏
