Friday Miss A was a horrible day sleeper. I had to stay in our hotel room (which we had just arrived at) shushing her to sleep and hubby ducked out to get us lunch as we were starving! He came back and said “gee I hope this is ok, I tried to stick to the JBT Program?”...
Bless him 💗
So thankful he was conscious of choosing a meal to suit the JBT Program as I’m in the middle of the Shred 👏🏼 it’s these gestures of support that really help in a household. Not everyone has to do the shred, but supporting one another is a real treasure! 👍🏼
Note; this meal was amazing! There was brown rice at the bottom and a little teriyaki chicken in the middle.👌🏼

Life is a little bit like the ocean. Sometimes it is so beautiful, still, calm and peaceful. Yet the very next day it’s agitated, dark and raging, almost scary.. But in the end, it’s always so amazing, interesting, mind blowing and exciting!
There is good in everything. Sometimes it’s harder to see it, but ironically, that’s when it gets easier to find the positive in the smallest, littlest things. The ones that are so obvious we just keep forgetting that we should be thankful for them. You’re alive! How’s that for a start?
It is said that adopting a pet makes you happier and more likely to live longer. Now, i don’t know if this is a scientific fact but one thing is sure : holding and sharing a moment with this little ball of fur definitely made me smile and warmed my heart 💕❤️💕
A gratitude journal is a truly effective way of training the mind (or you might say « tricking » the mind) - to scan the positive in your life. Write down 3 things each day that made you smile, grateful, happy. It can only help you create your happiness, plus : it gives you a reason to shop for the cuttest notebook like this one!!
A key tip to start living in the moment is to be aware when your mind is wandering.
If by exemple you are taking a shower, and all you think is how dirt your floor is, you are not enjoying your shower.
Be aware of those moments is the first step to start living in the now.
Eating healthy doesn’t need to be complicated. In my opinion, 2 of the most important principles are. 🍎
•Eating whole, minimally processed food, most of the time.
•Eat plenty of veggies, many kind, and at most meals. Yes, even at breakfast if possible!
•Eggs, quality red meat (Wapiti pictured here), greens and nuts.
•One of my favourite breakfast for a clean and sustainable energy throughout the afternoon!
•Proteins and healthy fats in the morning really make you feel full and focused. •Try it and let me know how you feel!
